“Great lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2013

Enjoyed a very nice lunch of spanakopita, a Greek salad, and a gyro on pita bread. Everything was incredibly fresh. Loved the spanakopita especially and the tzatziki sauce was outstanding. Wait staff was very attentive as well. I will definitely return.

“Yummy and priced right”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013 via mobile

Nice decor, patio option, not crowded for weekday dinner (I haven't gone during lunch). Chicken Shwarma Plate $8.99 is yummy with tasty pile of chicken slices, separate dollop of the deeeelish whipped garlic/butter so you can mix it in or keep it separate, good hummus, and a fresh salad with sun dried tomatoes and feta cheese. No rice with the plate. Before the meal, you get a couple of large warm naan with olive oil for dipping. The bread was thinner/crispy in the middle and fluffy on the edges, which actually was quite nice. I enjoyed the textures and flavor.
The owner is proud of the place, gave me a sprig of freshly picked Mediterranean Basil to taste, talked about the climate of Greece and how it impacts flavors of spices, had Greek music videos playing on a big screen TV, attentive staff, good natured people, nice decor.
Location is in the long red-brick strip center on Babcock....the right end as you are facing it.

“New owners improved restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2012 via mobile

Food with new owners has improved. Great place for lunch or dinner. Flavors are a delight and a great change of pace.

“New owners --- quality is down”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2012 via mobile

Food is just do so with new owners. They need to work on better food. Time to get food at lunch time is much too long. Hope they improve.

“Best Mediterranean food I've ever had!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2012 via mobile

I've been to many different Mediterranean restaurants, even in San Anton (yes, I know we're all about Mexican) but this was outrageous! Great prices (2 great meals for about $15), great attentive service, and fantastic food!!!

Get the falafel. It's moist, flavorful, and a generous portion. Of course there's naan to start with (a little thin and less body than I'm used to, but still great). I also had the gyro platter and was delicious. The hummus is great!

All in all, a fantastic place if you're a med vet but even better if you've never had that kind of food. This will give you a great first experience.
