Owner description: Kiddie Park is the perfect place for children and adults to enjoy a nostalgic day of old-fashioned fun at one of San Antonio's most treasured landmarks! Established in 1925 and renovated in 2009, Kiddie Park is America's oldest children's amusement park! Kiddie Park has preserved its 1920's style by maintaining all of the original rides, while updating the park with modern facilities. Guests can enjoy the parks' old-fashioned ferris wheel and famous hand-carved Herschell Spillman carousel, as well as other classic kids' rides that have made Kiddie Park an iconic San Antonio attraction for over 89 years! We also host birthday parties, private parties, and company events!

“Great for little ones 6 and under”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2012

My 6-year old daughter and I went here in early July. We took a river taxi up to Pearl Brewery from the Riverwalk where we were staying and then hiked up the trail along the Brackenridge golf course. She's scared of bigger rides (she was only willing to ride the Shamu Express at SeaWorld). This place was perfect for her. It's very nostalgic as the park dates back to around 1925. There was little to no wait for any of the rides. For $13, she was able to get unlimited rides. She rode everyone of them (there are around 10 in all) and had a great time. It's a great place to initiate little ones for rides, but only takes an hour or two for the full experience.

“New Ownership, lots of fun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2012

Fun place to take your little ones for a great afternoon. Shady trees, places to sit and watch and nicely spruced up by the new owners. A big hit with the locals and a fun place to visit for tourists- they will get a taste of the local flavor of San Antonio and their people.

“Great place for kids Bday!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2012

I wanted to step out of the usual peter piper or chucky cheese bday [arties and opted to throw my sons 4th bday party here. I planned it a month ahead and it turned out fabulous. Everyone had fun. We rented the elmo costume and my husband dressed up and all the little kids absolutely LOVED it! Everyone was great and helped with all I needed. Definitely a party to remember. Definitely recomend it!
