It’s a simple concept: Offer people a place to sit and enjoy themselves with a good array of beers and wide range of foods. Alamo Street Eats accommodates on all accounts. The space has both shaded and sunny seating at picnic tables. The main building has a small window for ordering from the dozen or so beers on tap, and then there are the food trucks on the property offering up a variety of dishes. The Attaboy airstream trailer had literally the best veggie burger I’ve ever had, along with good fresh fries (sweet potato were slightly better than the regular fries, but both were good). It's a short walk from the convention center, so if you're in town for something and dread heading back to the Riverwalk, head here for a bit more local flair and flavor. (Closed on Mondays.)
