O.K. lets start with the beginning. I as well knew I was in trouble when I pulled into the hotel. Crack dealers on the corners gang graffiti on the hotel and surrounding buildings. Our friends and their kids had a second room. We first changed rooms 4 times and floor 2 times. Our friends room reeked of mildew. We tried 3 rooms all air conditioners did not work. The front desk staff was very friendly. The cleaning crew and other staff all looked freshly paroled. The pool was O.K. they let us swim late. The breakfast was not bad for free. The rooms were not cleaned. Concrete ceilings leaked I think water Even as we stayed. Their was also a vagrant sleeping and staying in the so called “workout room”. The beds were 2 twins “springs wrapped in cloth”. I advise not to stay at this hotel

Front desk was understaffed and didn't answer the phone for nearly an hour. Was not able to get through to get the airport shuttle and had to take a cab. Front desk woman was rude and then to top if off booked me into a room that was already occupied! Just pay a little more and save yourself the hassle of this place.

Pulling into the parking lot, I alread knew this was gonna be bad. Check in took a while and we were given a room on the third floor. The room we were given looked like it had not been cleaned. There was paint or something paint-like splattered on the shower walls and around the toliet. Dirty bathroom. I called the front desk and they relocated us to another room on the first floor which had an its own exterior door. The second room was clean. The location of this hotel is just shady. People (I suppose other guests) congregated and partied in the parking lot outside our rooms. Someone bummed a smoke from my boyfriend outside, then later was knocking on our door at midnight. I presume to bum another smoke but who knows. We did not answer the door and I was glad that we only had to spend the night. I practically peeled out of the parking lot on the way out.

It was late and I needed a place to sleep for a few hours before flying out in the morning. I thought I'd save some money by staying at the Econo Lodge. I checked in and got my room key. When I opened the door to my room, it reeked of a urine smell.
I walked into the bathroom to see if the toilet had backed up or something and saw the grey burned in stains in the sink and counter of a former meth lab. Needless to say I got out of there quickly. The only good thing I have to say is the man at the desk gave me my money back no questions asked.
Went down the street to the Hill Country Inn and got a great room for almost the same price.
