“Birthday Brunch outstanding presentation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2014

Outstanding presentation and top notch service! As you enter there is a table of scrumptous desserts to lure you into the wonderful room that faces the golf course. The wait staff was very attentive and the food was elegant and delicious. There was a piano player singing top 40 and jazz tunes setting the tone for the day. I can't say enough about the food. The mimosas were bottomless and you can order omelets and waffles from the kitchen as part of the brunch. It was tasty and seasoned well. The desserts were beautiful. The Baker deserves and award for such a beautiful presentation. Its on the high end in price so if youre on a budget reserve this for special occasions, but if you're a foodie the restaurant was an excellent representation of the JW Marriott brand. A must go

“Steaks!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2014

This is an outstanding steak house in the JW Marriott right off the golf course. They have a full compliment of high end cuts from wagyu, akaushi and kobe beef. The best part is they know how to prepare it and its worth every dollar. I had the akaushi top cap sirloin and it tasted better than most places can do a ribeye.

“Good if your not with a big group”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2014 via mobile

Sometimes when your held hostage in a hotel you question the restaurants on property. Don't question this. Had two meals here, one alone, and it was a pretty good experience. Filet and service were both excellent. Friendly and welcoming bar servers make your table wait pleasant. I do wish though that they plated the steak versus the skillet type server they use. Only because your steaks sits in this collection of drippings. But if your at this hotel, it's the place to eat.
The other experience was not as good, with a big group and steak cam out very overlooked from what I ordered...twice. Wound up going to bed without eating, wasn't going to endure the third. But with that, servers were very friendly and all else was very nice. I'd still eat here again, maybe it was a bad night for the chef.

“Dinner overlooking the Golf Course”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2014

Service excellent, and Cuisine good with an excellent selection of Wines. The Steaks were superb according to my family, but I tried the Venison with Cranberry which was excellent and tender. The accompanying vegetables were not as good (undercooked) but generally an excellent meal

“Taste buds delight!”

Perfect from start to finish! Even the bread was great, served with house made jerky and pickles. I had the best short ribs ever! Service was spot on. Truly a "5"!
