I ate at this restaurant with a group of about 115 people (our annual Super Bowl party), We chose them because of location (right off the Riverwalk), and because they would accept such a large group. They did an outstanding job from start to finish, from our arrival through dessert, they were most professional and accommodating
The restaurant made sure to assign enough servers, they kept the exceptional cold food bar fresh and made sure the meat skewers made the rounds. More than one person commented on how great the service was.
The only issue (and it is one I've experienced at other restaurants when we had a large group), was that late in the meal, when most of us were starting on our desserts, I found the staff opening several bottles of the red wine we'd settled on. I stopped them before they'd opened more than a couple, but they had a half dozen ready to open. This would have been some pretty blatant bill padding.
The only other thing was the lack of white wine choices. I know this is a steak house, but we did have a dozen or so folks who wanted white wine and the options were very limited.
Overall, if I find myself back in San Antonio, I would eat at this Fogo de Chao again. Good food, good service, reasonable prices, but I will make sure I skip lunch that day.
