The first you come to on the trail and the largest. Walk around at your own pace. Lovely spot and learned the history of the mission life

“What History”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2014

The Spanish built this beautiful mission and when I visited I couldn't help but imagine the workers with crude instruments building such a structure without modern equipment. This must have taken years and even though I am not Catholic I can certainly appreciate their efforts to expand Christianity with the aid of structures such as this mission.

“Nice mission”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2014

Our trolley tour also stopped at this mission, which is a bit smaller than San Jose, yet still very much worth visiting. The chapel is restored and the stations of the cross are done beautifully.

The church at Mission Conception is still in use and beautifully maintained. Many photographic opportunities inside and out.

“Girls Trip to San Antonio”

We enjoyed this mission. Beautiful inside and make sure you stop to see the sanctuary outside. Wish there was a guided tour to explain the history like at San Jose Mission.
