“LOVE THE REMODEL and UPDATES!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Our family frequents water parks often and Splashtown in San Antonio is one of our favorites! We have noticed that this year they gave us a bunch of improvements including new paint and even NEW bathrooms!! LOVE THIS!! The park is looking fabulous. Another reason we love this one so much is because compared to other parks the lines are much shorter and the large kiddie area has lots of slides for the little ones. The lifeguards were nice and helpful as well. I also like the dive in movies and the are always doing fun contests on their facebook page!
Splashtown comes highly recommended.

“A great family friendly and inexpensive place to enjoy cool water in the Texas heat!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013 via mobile

I love coming to Splashtown! It is a lot less crowded than other places and the price is much more reasonable (contrary to another review that thinks that paying twice as much at another place is "close" to the same price). The staff if friendly and fun. The park is clean and even on busy days, the waits are not very long for attractions.
I read other reviews (that were made in January when the park isn't even open) and think they may not know what they were talking about (fake? Not for me to judge). I have not had any negative experiences and would recommend Splashtown to anyone. It's a great time and so refreshing in the summer heat! Plenty for the kids to do as well as the adults.

“Fun place to go in summertime!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

We always go in the late afternoon when the price is less and so are the crowds. The park stays open late so there is plenty of time. This park may not be as shady and as natural as Schlitterbaun, but it is also not full of long lines and $$$ to walk in the door. The lines are short and later in the day, practically not there at all. The crowd here looks a little rough, I don't lose site of my kids, however without the huge crowds it is easier to keep an eye on them. I have never had anything stolen, even flip flops left out unattended all day. If you would prefer less lines and less crowds and less expensive, may want to try this place. If you prefer schlitterbaun - get there when they first open, don't dare go on a weekend. As for Splashtown, myself and kids have a great time!

“been a long time”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

It's been a long time since I visited slpashtown. It was always crowded and dirty when we went so we opt for Sea World or now that the kids are older, Schlitterbahn.
