“Our San Antonio home!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2011

Our family makes several trips to San Antonio throughout the year and we are never disappointed when we stay. The staff are warm and courteous and the hotel and rooms are always clean and inviting. The perfect place to stay for business or a weekend getaway.

My friends and decided to try the Sheraton for appetizers and drinks to celebrate the end of a busy week. While one of us had been there on several occasions it was new to the others. The menu had changed and did not offer some of the appetizers we had heard about but what we ordered we did like. Corey, our server was helpful in making suggestions while following up to make sure we liked what we ordered. While we were overly impressed with the service Corey offered we were equally disappointed in the service provided by Dawn the bartender. She was most unfriendly and didn't seem knowledgeable in the drinks she served. At one point we even witnessed her "reprimanding" the server in a way that made us feel uncomfortable. In spite of this the atmosphere was nice and it was easy to visit with the surroundings so I am sure we will be back.

I'm a redesigner and found the entrance all the way to my room to be an awesome addition to the normalcies of hotel living. I searched high and low for the perfectly square off white storage boxes and could not find them anywhere. (if anyone knows just inbox me at:atari08@hotmail.com) I asked the staff, who provided me details but I could not locate them. So nice. Everything....was so nice..

I have to say, not only was the food great, but the services was wonderful. Everyone was well mannered and generous. The happy our in the Sabor Patio was the best! We really got a chance to relax and have fun at the same time in this beautiful lounge area. Lastly, If you try the food, I recommend the "Fideo con Camarones"! It's really delicious!!

My sister and I traveled to San Antonio for a much needed vacation away from the kids. We decided we wanted to go to Fiesta Texas for a flashback trip to our youth. We searched for a hotel that was close, and boy did we get that! We ended up staying at Four Points, and our view from our window...you got it...Fiesta Texas. This is a very new hotel. Our room was really comfortable and CLEAN. The decore is a more modern type, with baskets instead of a dresser, but totally cute. The bed was SO comfortable!

The room itself is small, but accommodating. Everything you need is there, coffee maker with coffee/tea, TV, Internet (High speed = FREE), and wonderful toiletries in the bathroom. There were many pillows on the bed, and the bed itself was awesome.

The bathroom was TINY, but really, what do you use the bathroom for? There is no bathtub, shower only. I would highly recommend this hotel provides anti slip items in that shower, though. I nearly fell 6 times as the floor gets VERY slippery when soap, shampoo, and conditioner is involved. The bathroom had plenty of towels, but no wash cloths. I called the concierge desk, and they sent up more towels and wash cloths within 10 minutes. The water pressure in the shower was perfect, although figuring out how to WORK the shower, took just a minute. Again, nothing wrong with this, just the "modern styling" left me a bit confused. (I'm not THAT old!)

Downstairs there is a bar, and a fireplace. I really liked the fireplace. There's PLENTY of room for lounging inside, or outside. Outside, there's loungers and outdoor furniture, and ash trays, as this is the only place you can smoke around this building. The pool is smallish, but the kids swimming seemed to enjoy it!

As for service, everyone was very pleasant. They had a "leave the guests alone" attitude, which is NOT off-putting at all. They asked how everything was, and then left you to your business. Everyone had smiles, and said hello as you passed.

What's really cool about this place, it's literally one block from Fiesta Texas. We could see the "Superman" ride from our window.

All in all, our stay was pleasant, and the value was perfect! We'd DEFINITELY stay here again, and I recommend this hotel, highly.
