great location on the riverwalk. Great free breakfasts and happy hours. Rooftop outdoor swimming pool has great views. this is the old charming Alamo bank converted into a hotel.
Parking is valet only - 21.00 per day. Good valet service. Hotel can get very crowded because of conferences. Easy walk to the Alamo and other sights.

Room Tip: ask for a room on an upper floor so you can see views of the city. great access to riverwalk - roof...

Enjoyed a 5 day stay here during recent conference. Prime, restful location on the Riverfront with easy access to tour boats, many excellent restaurants, the Visitors Center, & other main attractions like the Alamo & Western Art Museum. Exceptionally friendly & responsive customer service across the board from housekeeping, kitchen and bell staff, receptionists, and hotel manager. Many room options with microwaves / refrigerators in all guestrooms. Complimentary breakfast & afternoon Happy Hour (not the most appetizing snack or food choices here though). Recommend when traveling to the area.

This was a perfect spot to stay in San Antonio. The back door of this hotel opens on to the Riverwalk, only a few minutes' walk from the Alamo in one direction and the cathedral the other. Our room overlooked the Riverwalk; initially I was a bit concerned that it might be noisy, but in fact it is in a perfect location. There is one quiet restaurant on the other side of the river, but the noisy spots are far enough away that we did not hear them at all. Highly recommended.

This property is located in a great part of the Riverwalk. Perfect. Free breakfast and the snack time in the afternoon with 3 free drinks was a plus. The room was adequate. We requested a Riverwalk view and it was granted. For the price and location I would recommend and stay here again.

Quiet rooms, friendly workers, helpful manager, wonderful comfortable bedding, slept well, relaxing lobby full of free amenities like a lovely player piano at evening kickback--3 free small cocktails, wines or beers plus endless sodas and plenty of snacks in large eating room next to river. Have snacks (chili, baked taters, hot dogs, salad, etc) and then eat on Riverwalk much later when it's cooler, darker and lively.
Easy access to Riverwalk with keycard entry return which ensures security within hotel. Location very good being at quieter part of Riverwalk. Take less crowded boat right outside for nice ride. Just a few steps to livelier part. Breakfast offerings quite good and filling and kept very clean. Pool and spa on roof has nice view. Towels are provided up there. Balcony deluxe room worth getting. Micro and fridge great. Shower has dispensers with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. No lotion in room so bring your own. They email you your bill on checkout day. Liked it! No need to checkout at front desk.
Note for mgt: Butter at breakfast might be good by waffle area too, as I couldn't find it until later, way over by toast.
Great job overall by mgt of this hotel. Generous amenities. Truly a fun and relaxing stay!

Room Tip: Room with terrace worth it. Terrace is fairly good size and fun to relax on.

After doing some of our own research (much of it via tripadvisor), we decided on this hotel over another that the travel agent had suggested. We feel that this decision paid off. Our room was fantastic with lots of space for a family of four, plus a balcony that looked down over the Riverwalk, and the location was perfect. Kids loved the free Wi-Fi. The complimentary breakfast was very good and the staff that manned it very attentive. Actually, we found all of the staff to be very helpful in any manner. I would like to mention Jose from breakfast and Martha from the reception area. Both were very accommodating. The free happy hour and food wasn't quite as impressive as the breakfast and we only partook in that a couple of times, but was no big deal for us as we generally were out on the Riverwalk for drinks and dinner anyways. All in all, a great place to stay while in San Antonio. Having never stayed at any Drury hotels, we didn't know what to expect, but we will be sure to stay with them again if possible.

The hotel is located on a quiet end of the Riverwalk. Parking is $16 in the parking garage and is secure. For a family the value is awesome. In the evening from 5:30-7:00 they have drinks and snacks for FREE. Each adult receives a punch card and gets 3 free drinks for either wine, beer, or mixed drinks for each night. Soda is also free. They have free popcorn, hot dogs, and macaroni which was perfect because we planned for a later dinner so my kids weren't dying of starvation! We had a 2 Queen Suite, it had a separate living area with couch (pull out) chair, bistro table, TV and desk, It also had a wet bar area with a refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom wasn't exciting, and the bedroom was pretty basic 2 queen beds with night stands, a dresser and TV. We also had a patio with chairs. This would be a comfortable long stay. Breakfast was also Free and had a large selection of eggs, biscuits & gravy, sausage, waffles, yogurt, fruit, cereal & danishes. The hotel was in easy walking distance for downtown and Riverwalk restaurants and attractions. Next time in San Antonio I will be staying here again. I just caution you to not eat at the Texas Land & Cattle in the hotel.
