“OK - very touristy”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013

This area is just to touristy for me. I have been traveling to new cities every summer and this was one of the harder ones to find interesting things to do. So if you are at the River Walk for sure walk up and down. Take the River Taxi Tour - it is interesting.

“Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

This is one of the best attraction of San Antonio. Take a boat guided tour in the man made canals. River walk as few best restaurants which are worth trying.

“San Antonio RiverWalk is not to be missed!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2013

The Riverwalk is a pleasant experience no matter what time of year you visit. The restaurants are numerous but some of our favorites are Casa Rio Restaurant and Rio Rio Restaurant. Grab a frozen margarita or your favorite beverage and sit outside along the Riverwalk and enjoy the great food and people watching. Don't forget to explore the shops along the walk and some of the good ones are up on the higher levels or street levels. Also go up on the street level and grab a shuttle to the Mercado or Mexican Marketplace. But that's another review altogether. Just don't miss either the Riverwalk or the Mercado.

“As good as it gets!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

To have a golden asset such as the Riverwalk at the heart of your city makes San Antonio a really special place to visit. For me, a visitor from Ireland, the Riverwalk is the throbbing heart of SA. Other famous aspects of the of the city are very special and historically important, but I see the Riverwalk as a golden thread stitched through the center of the city. Loved the restaurants, bars and all the other attractions which were really great fun and did'nt see one example of bad or rowdy behaviour. I did see work gangs quietly working away at different locations to repair and improve the walkways, planted areas and footbridges which is a really promising indicator that things are being well looked after. All points considered the Riverwalk really is a fantastic attraction.
