“Couldn't be nicer”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2012

Location, price & friendliness of staff couldn't be beat. Had a meeting here, and the sales and catering staff all bent over backwards to assure we were taken care of and happy. Free WiFi (if you read my reviews, you already know how I feel about THAT) too. Clean and fresh, which is especially nice for a historic building; the day I checked in they were cleaning the carpets in the meeting area but by next day dry and no musty odor at all. Teeny but more than adequate fitness suite, if that's a necessity for you. Both times I used it, I was all alone.

My actual sleeping room may have been the tiniest I have every stayed in, which was a little dismaying at first, but really it had everything I needed and I spent very little time in it anyway. Just a good thing I didn't have to iron anything, I don't know where I would have set it up...maybe 1/2 way into the bathroom? GREAT beds. I toured other rooms and they were all superior to mine, so if that is the worst you can do....it's all fine.

Room Tip: Don't get a queen only. THAT's the teenie weenie room. If cost is the same, ask for one wi...

I stayed here for one night for a work related meeting.

My room was really nice. Corner room with king bed and huge walk in shower. I did look at another room which I think was a queen room and was very small. I also saw one of the corner 2 room suites, it was very nice also. The free Wifi was a big plus.

Our meeting was held in the hotel meeting room which was very convenient.

We stayed 3 nights and everything went great. The rooms were very nice and clean. There were some sugar ants in the room but only if food was around. They are aware if this and said they exterminate but they keep coming back. The front desk clerks were very friendly and gave us some good tips on places to eat breakfast as it is not complimentary at this hotel. They do have a restaurant in the hotel which smells delicious, but I thought was a little overpriced. There are a couple if parking lots walking distance from the hotel that are $8-10 a day so that is an option if you don't want to pay $25/night for valet. Drive around the block... You will see them! Great location!!! Right next to the Alamo, Ripley's wax Museum... Childrens Museum ... All walking distance. Grab the red trolley if you want to go to the Market Square for $1.10 as it is about 7 blocks. I would stay here again for sure!! Thanks Hotel Indigo on Alamo!!!!

This hotel is in a great location, right by the Alamo. The hotel has a great deal of history with the Alamo which I shan't spoil for you.
The rooms are the typical Indigo cute standard.
Despite the lifts being quite confusing...you'll see what I mean!!!! the hotel is great fun.

I found the bar staff really friendly, and whilst the food is good it is not the most comfortable to dine fully in, but there is a plethora of restaurants right beside the hotel, so no biggy.

This hotel was really very good. The location was perfect - nice views of the Alamo and just a couple of blocks from the river walk and the convention centre.

The room I stayed in was excellent: it consisted of two very nice rooms. Everything was very clean. The shower was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet and dark.

Breakfast was very good and the staff were consistently very helpful and friendly.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, close proximity to everything; and above all the staff was beyond friendly. I was very satisified with our stay and will be staying at this hotel again when we return to San Antonio. You can tell that all members, from the front desk clerk to the valet team, everyone prides themselves in working in such a great, historical building. It was very nice to have met the GM as well on our visit. He made it a point to introduce himself while we were at the bar. Thanks!

Room Tip: Ask for a corner room that faces the alamo. Perfect view!
