“Our Get Away Trip to San Antonio”

This is a spotlessly clean hotel conveniently located (walking distance) to the River City Mall, the Riverwalk and the Alamo. It has large comfortable suites and a staff that appreciates your business and shows it by their kindness and helpfulness. The breakfast and dining area is more than adequate. My wife and I have stayed at this hotel several times before and have always found it to be outstanding. This is a great place to go for a one or two night get away with moderate prices.

“One day in San Antonio”

We had a great time at this hotel. I short walk to the Riverwalk but the staff was very willing to drive us over and pick us up if requested. There was a manager's wine and cheese from 5 to 7 which excellent. The breakfast was also very good. I would recommend this hotel should you be visiting the area.

We are also glad that you found our complimentary dining options to be more than satisfactory, as we pour a lot of resources into continuously fine-tuning this experience for the guests by providing the best food and service at no extra expense for the guest. “Great Hotel and Staff”

I stayed at this hotel in January for a short trip to visit San Antonio. The accommodations were excellent. Rooms are nice sized and everything was very clean. I also happened to leave my wallet on the stand under the the TV, and on the way back to Fort Worth, someone from the hotel called me to let me know. Unfortunately, I was too far out to return and I was a little concerned that I might not get it back, but to my amazement, the person who called me assured me that they would send it to me. And they did! I left on a Sunday afternoon and received my wallet (WITH EVERYTHING in it) on Wednesday! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone for the value, the honesty, cleanliness and proximity to everything!

Thank you for taking the time to write such positive remarks about our hotel based on your recent stay at the Comfort Suites Alamo/Riverwalk. We are glad to hear that you were very satisfied with the size and overall room condition of our suites, as our housekeeping staff works diligently to keep our rooms as clean as possible on a regular basis. Also, we are very happy to hear that you received your wallet promptly after hearing about misplacing it in one of our suites from our staff - I will make sure that our staff is commended for returning your lost wallet - we try our best to make sure all lost items are accounted for and that the owners are contacted quickly after departure. Once again, we appreciate your comments and recommendation, and we hope that you decide to stay with us again in your future travels to downtown San Antonio, TX.

“Felt like royalty at reasonable price”

This luxurious hotel is walking distance to the River Walk. Our spacious suite was beautifully decorated, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The lobby and eating area were roomy and gorgeous. What an amazing free breakfast (many hot and cold choices). The outdoor hot tub and pool had a beautiful sitting area. Expect to be greeted by helpful, friendly staff. We found nothing to complain about except that we had to leave after two nights!

We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to provide us and TripAdvisor with such complementary remarks about your experience staying at the Comfort Suites Alamo/Riverwalk. We are very happy to hear that you found the decor to be "gorgeous" as we tried our best to provide an authentic villa-like feel in the aesthetics of our property during construction. All of the cabinetry in the public space is in fact real Alder wood that was custom made for our kitchen/sundry space, and all the rod iron balconies and chandeliers were designed by the owners and imported from Mexico. Most importantly, we are very pleased to hear that you were always greeted by our staff in a very friendly, helpful manner. We are sorry to hear that you had to leave after only two nights, but we would love to have you stay with us again in your future travels to San Antonio - so don't hesitate to visit us again soon!

“Top Notch hotel and staff”

I have stayed at this hotel twice now while visiting San Antonio. This is by far the best hotel(I stayed at hotel valencia) and the staff are simply amazing. The rooms are spacious and were clean both times we visited. For the price, location and the awesome breakfast you simply can not go wrong here, ever. You could not ask for a better group of staff(they're all amazing!!). If you're on the fence just give it a shot and you'll be more than pleasantly surprised. The location is all within walking distance to the riverwalk and alamo. Comfort suites has done an exceptional job and my next visit will again be at this hotel.
