“Texas Burger”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013 via mobile

This was our first stop in San Antonio after seeing it on Guy Fieri's triple D. The sweet potato fries are great! I also has the Texas burger. Very messy, but worth every napkin! My husband had the Egg-Ceptional burger. He wasn't as impressed as I was. He's a hard sell on burgers. Would be a great hangout after work with a group of friends. There were a ton or high school aged kids running around, which isn't my cup of tea, but there is plenty of beer to make you forget about that!

“Good food, weird ambiance.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013 via mobile

The food is enjoyable, organic, and fresh! However tjis place gets packed. It took over an hour last night for 2 burgers. The atmosphere is strange, as we were constantly interrupted by children running around, throwing basketballs, or by errant ping pong balls. For some this may construe a fun atmosphere, but it isn't my scene. Still, the food is worth a try, as they make an oustanding beef or lamb burger. The arugula is grown in their own garden, organically!

“Weird and Wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013

The Cove is very eclectic in the choices of food, their furnishings, decorations....everything. No only is this a good restaurant but there is also a laundromat and a car wash....like I said "eclectic". The Bison Burgers got rave reviews and my seafood sampler was outstanding. One flour tortilla wrapped together a good-sized portion of grilled fish and another tortilla wrapped four grilled shrimp, both topped with a cabbage slaw and accompanied by a separate small spinach salad. We all really enjoyed the sodas made with real cane sugar....very special taste. Only negative was that four of us order one after the other at the counter and yet our food didn't arrive together. There was quite a few minutes between first meal delivered and the last. But definitely would go back again.

“Good burgers, but come early!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013 via mobile

The food was tasty and they had some interesting soda varieties. The line was super long on Sunday lunch so I recommend going early. The outside seating is nice during cool weather. Very casual place. May go back for friends, but I am not a burger connoisseur so I wouldn't miss it. Sweet potato fries were great. Definitely worth a try albeit pricey!
