1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013 via mobile

I will not be staying at this hotel ever again my daughters are 4 and 16 months they both have asthma and both were up all night coughing, we couldn't figure it out but when we woke up and checked the bed there was mold on the comforter we called front desk the maintence guy came down looked at it and asked is that all? And didn't even remove the comforter from the room all the front desk did was offer 50 percent of the room back and didn't even apologize we did not take the money and called corporate in which they never returned our call so I called back the next day and the person didn't even file the complaint so now we have to wait another 72 hours till we hear something

Nice hotel - fairly quiet, clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The King bed was comfortable. The morning breakfast was OK, with a good variety. The WiFi was very difficult to maneuver and signal was spotty. Stayed here several days and had to continually log in. The public printer hadn't worked in a while, but the staff was able to print my boarding pass from their station. Room rate didn't allow loyalty points, which should have been mentioned at the time of booking. All in all, we would stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the restaurant across the street. Can be noisy at night with teens hanging...

Nice place to stay with comfortable beds and a good breakfast. It was Spring Break and very crowded while we were there. The sofa looked old and there was only one elevator which was not nearly enough to serve all the people staying there. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful, especially when we had car trouble. It was a good location between the River Walk and other attractions such as Sea World and Six Flags. They were pet friendly which was important to us. All in all it was a good place to stay for three nights.

The only problem I had with this hotel was the friendliness of the staff. I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms and the lobby area. They serve free breakfast daily but we didn't wake in time to partake. The location was perfect only 6 miles from Helotes and Floores Country Store. It is also close to many restraunts, La Cantera Mall and Six Flags.

I got a room and first thing i saw on the floor was crumbs and a piece of a candy wrapper! Then i went into the restroom and there was shoe prints on the floor, hairs on the side of the tub and sink. There was a piece of toilet paper behind the toilet then when i looked at the beds, it looked like they didn't even change the sheets or pillow cases, they were all wrinkled and i found a hair on the sheets. The mirrors were smudged and the headboards had dust all over them along with fridge. When i called the front desk i spoke to a lady and all she said was i'll send someone down ma'am and you can either change rooms or they can clean the one your in! NOT very professional she could have at least apologized and said we're very sorry about that we'll send someone right away! When the head housekeeper came to look at the room she was very nice and sympathetic and cleaned the whole room for us.

The room was clean the staff was super nice and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was the normal fare with eggs, biscuits with sausage gravy and pastries/cereal. They stop serving at 9:30 on weekdays though, which is early for my family when on vacation. They did however still have oatmeal out at 9:50 when we arrived to eat, so at least we got something. They have a salt water pool which is much easier on the eyes and hair than a chlorine pool. It was even handicap accessible. The room also had enough space for our family of 5 Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

Not too bad! Rooms were clean staffing was super nice, price was awesome. The only thing that was kind of a bummer was the location on the highway feeder. A little hard to get around when you keep having to make U turns. Breakfast was typical continental with eggs, pastries, do it yourself waffles. Definitely worth staying here if you're ok with the basics!
