“Love the missions.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

My husband and I were married in one of the California Missions, so we were anxious to see the Texas ones. We weren't disappointed. The style is a little different than those built in California, so we really enjoyed seeing them. Everyone should visit these wonderful gems of the past.

“Worth a Day of Exploring”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013

The four missions that make up the park provide a rich and fascinating history to any visit to San Antonio. Each one offers a different look at mission life. If you can only see one mission, be sure to see Mission San Jose.

“Excellent guided tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

Well worth a visit. We used the "trolley" to reach the mission (2) from the Alamo. Excellet federal guides at the sites. Recommend worth several hours if you like history and we do

“San Jose Mission”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

I did my bridal portraits at the park in November. There are so many interesting and rustic objects to add to the setting. The portraits came out great! Very pleased. Because I used a photographer, we had to get a permit, but the process is very simple to get one.

“Excellent bicycle family tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012 via mobile

We have done this tour many times and now is better than never, we rode along the San Antonio River on our bicycles and enjoyed the new paved trail that takes you from the Blue Star Brewery all the way to Mission Espada going by Mission San Jose, San Juan and Concepcion. It is a long way from one point to the other but is worth it, we made two hours and a half going and coming, up and down the trail. It is recommended to have some physical training if you want to go all the way.

You can look at:www.sanantonioriver.org if you want more information. They are doing a very nice job with this regeneration project and landscaping as well as new parks. Congratulations to the City Major!!!!!
