Stayed here while attending a conference at the San Antonio conference center. I thought it wouldn't be so far away, but it was. I ended up having to spend $9 on the taxi each way. The staff told me it was a 25 minute walk away, so you could walk it. The hotel is on the Riverwalk but not on the fun part with all the restaurants. Staff was very friendly. Room was big enough. Shower and bathroom in good shape. Complimentary bathrobe in the closet was visibly dirty!

I go to San Antonio quite often as it is only an hour away from where I live so its rare that I ever stay the night. But this trip was for a friend who was coming to visit family in San Antonio so I decided to reserve a room for us that was close by to all of San Antonio's hot spots, downtown of course.

We did not take advantage of the valet parking but did utilize the self parking in their garage attached to the hotel. I felt it was pretty safe to park at so I had no issues with that. We even got to check in earlier than usual since we arrived earlier than expected. The check in was a breeze and we really felt like the staff was there to cater to us by how friendly everyone was. Before I went up to my room I had requested a refrigerator to be brought up for a certain fee.

We go up to the room and it was quite lovely! The beds were more than comfortable and the room just appealed to be super clean and well maintained. The bathroom was a little small we thought but it wasn't a huge deal. There was even a lovely view of the riverwalk which was nice as well as the pool.

We eventually headed out to the pool and it was very quaint and satisfying. There were an unusual amount of children out there but they stayed out of our way. Plenty of seating and lawn chairs for everyone to sit at. The hot tub felt incredible! We even hit the fitness center up after that and were thoroughly impressed with the machinery in there. Everything needed to have the ultimate workout.

We headed out and came back later that evening with things that needed to be refrigerated and since we had been bone for so long we expected the fridge to have been there. Unfortunately it had not arrived yet so we made several calls down to the front desk to get one delivered. We finally got through and they sent one up. They even decided not to charge me for it since it was delayed in getting to our room, which was very nice of them.

We had the breakfast buffet in the morning and it was delicious! The made to order omelet station was always rocking but they were definitely worth the wait. Plenty of other buffet options as a choice for different dietary needs, something for everyone!

All in all a very well presented hotel with everything you could pretty much ask for and more! Location, price, and amenities are all worth it!

It was one of those hotel stays where arrival was late and the hotel was priceline. The hotel is nice and clean with updated rooms and has a bar and restaurant. Had dinner at the bar and would consider it above average bar food with a friendly staff and Monday Night football on TV. The room, although close to the elevator was quiet and an average hotel room. The breakfast buffet was well done and again the staff was friendly and attentive.
The two things that may not be appealing to some would be the actual proximity to the Riverwalk and the surrounding area of the hotel. The Riverwalk action appears to be a 10 minute walk but I would not recommend walking without a police escort. The hotel is a couple of blocks from the hospital. Finally, the parking. Like all other hotels these days if you bring a car and would like to park it where it can be located the next day without LoJack, be ready for 28 bucks plus tip on the parking.
