“Peanut Butter Cookies”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013

I stopped in here a couple times for coffee. The place was jamming early and late.

Good selection of baked goods, coffee, teas - but try the peanut butter cookie. Melts in your mouth.

A good stop any time of day.

“Always a 'must go to' place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013 via mobile

Every time I'm in Salem I stop in at Jaho, usually a few times a day. The zodiac teas are perfect, especially served in a French press, and the pastries and food are also amazing. My wife got her first chaider here and is now addicted. Staff are always friendly and helpful, prices are fair. It's great to sit in one of the comfy chairs and relax, or take something to go and walk around downtown.

“not my cup of tea”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2013

nice cafe with character but with a poor set-up for ordering refreshments. Quality of coffee was good, but orders were wrong which created the impression of pressure to sell to the tourist crowds. Disappointing and very pricey.

“Probably the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

This was a great place to stop and have something to drink and a snack. I got a pumpkin spice latte, which was wonderful. Their chocolate chip cookies had huge chunks of gooey chocolate in them, and were delicious. My only complaint would be that there just wasn't enough seating on a busy day, but I guess the amount of seating was average for a coffee shop. It was a nice place to sit down after our tour of The House of the Seven Gables (it's a short walk from there to Jaho.)
