“Exceptional Accomodations”

Morning Glory Bed & Breakfast

Morning Glory Bed & Breakfast is a truly exceptional guesthouse. The place itself harkens back to an earlier era and while the term charming is grossly overused, it really does apply here. It is very comfortable and Bob Shea has given a great eye to detail, from the wonderful presentation at breakfast, to the crisp sheets on the four poster bed, to the great scent in the freshly laundered towels. If you're visiting Salem or just want to get away for a nice/romantic weekend, this is the place to stay.

What a charming b&b in Salem! A little bit away from the hustle & bustle of the downtown, but still in walking distance to everything! Has the added benefit of off-street parking too! The host was very helpful to us too. Assisted with directions, dining recommendations, attractions & activities, etc. Very nice! Would definitely stay here again!

“The Most Beautiful & Comfortable Stay in Salem!”

Morning Glory Bed & Breakfast

Nov 20, 2007

As a single traveler from the West Coast it is important to me to find a place that is comfortable, friendly & safe. The Morning Glory Bed & Breakfast and its Host Bob Shea were the perfect fit for my 4 day escape to Salem. The quiet atmoshpere of the Inn and the wonderful location to all the local activities/sights made this the perfect stay. At $125.00 at night, I felt like that was a steal!
The Inn is within walking distance to many nice restaurants and shopping as well.

Spent the weekend at the Morning Glory and I found it to be a very fine B&B. The bedrooms are spacious and warm, down in the breakfast area, it is very much a family type layout where guests can talk to one another and learn a bit about each other.

Bob the host is a very fine gentleman and I would recommend the Morning Glory to anyone planning a visit up to Salem.

My daughter and I just returned from a weekend visit to Salem (and parts thereabout) where we stayed at the Morning Glory Bed & Breakfast. Our only regret was that our stay was not longer at this wonderful establishment.
Bob Shea, the proprietor, made our stay a pleasure - the rooms were clean, well-appointed, and private. The breakfasts were delicious with a wonderful host and cheerful conversation at the start of each day. Bob was prepared to assist us with detailed instructions to help us find our way around and out of town. It was a lovely combination of privacy and friendliness.
The location was incredible, across from the House of Seven Gables and just a brief walking distance from anywhere in Salem. My daughter went running one morning and was treated to a spectacular sunrise along the shore.
When the time comes to visit New England again, this is exactly where you'll find my family and me. I can't imagine going anywhere else.
