Most headstones were difficult if not impossible to read. There was a cryptic diagram in the cemetary to show you where to find particular headstones such as the Mayflower passenger, etc. However, I did not find it very helpful.

Make sure that you go and pay close attention to the tomb stones. There are many tombstones that are older than you can even think of. Reading them is touching also, such as reading that they died of consumption means they died of tuberculosis. Or the different symbols on the graves such as the cherubs versus the skull and crossbones. The memorial is also right next to the cemetery which you have to see also.

Not simply historical, this cemetery boasts some really wonderful headstones. Worth making the trip during daylight so as to really appreciate the headstones (and it is technically closed after dusk).

My cousin and I visited the cemetery on March 14th 2007. We saw it from the sidewalk across the road and thought we would check it out. It didn't seem like a real cemetery, the headstones were pretty close together, and there wasn't much information.

The cemetery is an interesting piece of history, however they should put a sign at each entrance with more information. It really looks like the stones were moved from another location.
