“nice place nice people”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

I have stayed here before and already have another stay on the schedule. Very nice and friendly staff. Easy to find, and quiet rooms, especially for being as close to the airport as they are. Beds have always been comfortable and clean, nice updated flat panel TVs. Would like a larger coffee pot, one small cup at a time is the only draw back when waking up. although coffee is available in the lobby 24/7.

It's a pet friendly hotel, which means there are pet hairs, dander and other remnants. If you are allergic to this- too bad. They don't do extra cleaning afterward although corporate says they are supposed to. I got a rash due to previous cat tenant. The
Staff is very nice, the building extremely run down, breakfast is marginal. Way too much styrofoam!! That never leaves
The environment. La quintas are too varied in quality

Nice clean with a beautiful outdoor pool area. A ways away from interstate.
In an area wth mostly hotels. Breakfast was the typical cold items. Surprisingly no airplane noise. No micro/fridge in least expensive.

We found the hotel to be a quiet place. Breakfast was adequate, but there was no variety. Staff was friendly. We liked the fact that it was so close to the airport, but also easy to get to attractions in southern Tucson and beyond.

Stayed here 4 nights recently, and was really dissapointed. Staff member out-and-out lied to me upon arrival, and was less than forthcoming with other questions I had. If you read the other reviews carefully you will see this is a common issue here. Bed was adequate, towels were paper thin, breakfast was underwhelming. This is a 2 star hotel on it's best day- and given staff issues I wouldn't even give it that many stars. I have elite status at 4 chains, and travel a bit- was hoping for more based on where this hotel is rated overall among others in the area. Should have read the reviews more carefully.

I am very surprised that La Quinta offers a breakfast with no consideration for the environment. I would ask that the corporation review how much they are dumping in landfills. There is a better solution, and I was very shocked at the amount of waste. The location was great to arrive late at night and be out early the next morning for business. It was clean enough. There is definitely a lack of customer service.

Our room was next to the elevator on the 4th floor, so it was noisy when the elevator went up and down. My bed had a hole in the top sheet. The breakfast was really lacking, if you wanted anything more than cereal and a waffle.

The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was quiet from airplane noise, except for the elevator as mentioned before.

Not a bad place to stay......

Room Tip: Stay away from the elevators.
