Spent the weekend of Feb 22 to 24th here. This was a great hotel. Rooms clean and large enough, nice pool side room. Hotel didn't care if we were in the hot tub or pool during the night as long as we were quite. Larger then normal pool and hot tub for a hotel. This will be were we always stay.

“This is a LAST Resort”

We called the hotel and expressed concern with the previous reviews. We were told by the manager to make sure to ask for the renovated rooms. We did. The place was obvious very old, missing trim, stains on the carpet, the grout in the bathroom was multi colored, stained from ??? Paint was peeling from the ceiling of the shower. The frame of one of the beds stuck our 6 inches from the mattress and couldn't be moved. I hit my ankle on it several times. Internet? no connection on my laptop, even in the lobby! Breakfast? It was eggs cooked on a Coleman Camp stove with waffles. Seating was at two long tables shared by all the other guests eating. We received two keys, one didn't work. We took it to be reprogrammed, and they programmed it to the wrong room. Brought them back and they were reprogrammed to only a one night stay, rather than the two that we were staying. The television reception was lacking. If you wanted to watch the local news the reception was so bad that you couldn't see through the static. The towels and toilet paper were meant for exfoliating the epidermis, and they were very successful at this. I do have to say that the price was better than other hotels in the area. It was quiet as it is located a good distance from the highway. So as I say, it is a last resort.

“Nasty, Nasty, Nasty”

We where in Tucson for a Soccer Tournament and where placed at this dump. I had went on line to look at it and thought it looked really nice. All of the pictures on line have to of been doctored or something because this place is nasty. We had reserved a total of 16 rooms for the weekend. Before I got to Tucson I was recieving calls from some of the parents about the Hotel. One family had checked in and had no TV or phone. This is the year 2008 correct. They then noticed all of the little bugs on the night stand and floor. They then decided to check out. When my daughter arrived ahead of me her and another mother where checking in when the clerk screamed for someone to answer the F in phone, only he said the word. I than arrived and spoke to the claerk about his language and that it was inappropriate and did not belong in a family inviroment. I was shown to my room and was very upset at the condition of it. Our smoke detector was hanging from the cealing by its wires. We had a HUGE crack that started at the floor and went to the ceiling. It was moderatly clean and I was exhausted. We turned the heater on and decided to turn in, we had just drove six hours. By 11:30p.m. I was calling maitnence as our room was freezing. They did nothing, I asked to have more blankets sent up they where out. Another mother was told that the rooms where just to big for the size of heaters that where in them. Our walls of our room looked like they had been melted. So we took towels and put them around the bottom of the door to keep some of the cold out. Waking up the next morning we all recieved COLD showers. We where told that because we where the last room that it sometimes happened. Alot of the other guest where also complaining of no hot water. Breakfast that morning consisted of eggs floating in something and a very dirty eating room. This was by far the worst weekend that I have ever had. This hotel was nasty and I would recommend that you NOT STAY HERE!!!

“Stay Away!!!!!”

Our soccer team was in Tucson for the weekend and had no option to stay any where else. Once entering our room, the disgusting smell was overwhelming! It was nauseating to say the least! It smelled like the worst mold mixed with something I don't even want to think about!! There was no television and the telephone did not work. I had to call the front dest from my cell phone. They agreed to "send" us to a different room just down stairs from ours. This room did not smell but was filthy! There were some sort of bugs on the night stand and it was obvious the room had not been vacuumed. There was something hanging from the bathroom ceiling - again, I don't even want to think about what it could have been! Of the 15+ families in our group that stayed at the Palo Verde Inn & Suites, not one of them were happy with the hotel. Their complaints ranged from dirty rooms to no running water at all!! Needless to say, we checked out and moved down the street to the Holiday Inn where we were very comfortable and happy that we moved!!

“Horrible”

We had a printed race track magazine that stated $39.00 per night. When we got there they would not stand by the $39.00 price printed. The breakfast was nothing but ceral water or coffee. If you even wanted cream for your sugar you had to pay for it. Pay for cream for your coffee??? Who has ever heard of that. Beware money hungry owners. False advertising!!!
