We called the hotel and expressed concern with the previous reviews. We were told by the manager to make sure to ask for the renovated rooms. We did. The place was obvious very old, missing trim, stains on the carpet, the grout in the bathroom was multi colored, stained from ??? Paint was peeling from the ceiling of the shower. The frame of one of the beds stuck our 6 inches from the mattress and couldn't be moved. I hit my ankle on it several times. Internet? no connection on my laptop, even in the lobby! Breakfast? It was eggs cooked on a Coleman Camp stove with waffles. Seating was at two long tables shared by all the other guests eating. We received two keys, one didn't work. We took it to be reprogrammed, and they programmed it to the wrong room. Brought them back and they were reprogrammed to only a one night stay, rather than the two that we were staying. The television reception was lacking. If you wanted to watch the local news the reception was so bad that you couldn't see through the static. The towels and toilet paper were meant for exfoliating the epidermis, and they were very successful at this. I do have to say that the price was better than other hotels in the area. It was quiet as it is located a good distance from the highway. So as I say, it is a last resort.
