“Very Nice Getaway”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2012

My better half and I like the idea of long weekends / "staycations" in the off season here, but just staying in PHX is too boring. So we purchased a voucher from Deal Chicken (a Groupon-like site) for the Omni.
First off, everyone who works at the resort is very friendly but not in a stuffy way. They really seem to just want to make you feel comfortable and welcomed.
We stayed in one of the regular rooms (not the Haciendas) which are decorated very nicely. They are more spacious than a normal hotel room and really make you feel like you are treating yourself. Nice bed. Nice bathroom. They also have 2 robes hanging in the closet for you - love that.
We also visited the spa and got a couples massage. I am a total amateur with that sort of thing, but I thought it was quite nice.
We went to Legends for drinks one night and dinner the next. Again - the people were very nice. The prices are a bit excessive, but kind of what I would expect from a resort hotel bar. I don't really have anything positive or negative to say about the food.
The only issue we had was that there was a big storm when we were there and our room had a roof leak. We were switched to another room that also had a roof leak. We were offered to move again and just decided to stay put. When we told the front desk about the leak in the second room, he said that engineering would go take a look at it while we went to eat. Well - nothing of the sort happened because the place was still wet when we got back. It wasn't a big deal but I just like to not be told something that is not going to be done. Honestly, if they were REALLY on top of their game, they would have just offered to buy us a drink at the bar since I had said we were going there.
If we can get a similarly priced deal again in the future, I think we would go back.

Room Tip: I would stay away from the rooms that have their patio by the pool. It seems like you could get wak...

“Fantastic stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2012 via mobile

The rooms are very nice and large. Received a travel zoo special and had a great time. The resort has a championship golf course, spa, and multiple restaurants and bars. Had the buffet the next morning and was also good, but not overly impressive.

“Fabulous Stay at the Omni”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

I recently attended a National Conference at the Omni Tucson and combined it with extra days for a vacation with my sister. We were both excited from the moment we checked in and everything far exceeded our expectations. The infinity pool was more than welcoming after long days of classes and sitting by the fire ring in the evening was totally relaxing. Our room was in close proximity to everything and we enjoyed dinner at the bar on evening and another at the steak house. The room was perfect for two friends traveling together with seperate sink and dressing areas; I loved the deep marble soaking tub.
Waking up to a view of the first tee was an added pleasure. We were not sure how well we would tolerate the high temperatures but everything was pleasantly air conditioned and evenings were a delight.
Everyone at the resort (especially the wait staff for the conference) was expremly helpful, friendly and went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay.
We look forward to returning to such a wonderful resort.

Room Tip: Room 112 was a wonderful location.

“A Nice Change”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2012

The resort is in an isolated area and is extremely quiet. The room was a casita shared with one neighbor. It was very roomy but in need of a few upgrades, such as a larger TV and a table set-up to hold the coffee maker, glasses, etc. The spa was very nice and the food was good. Staff was great. I would definitely recommend.

“Best stay on our 25 day road trip!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2012 via mobile

Beautiful, fantastic resort....albeit very hot! Rooms were immaculate, larger than my last apartment, and very luxurious. Would stay again in a heartbeat!
