“Stayed before flight”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

I was spoiled and received upgraded room which knocked my socks off. Only stayed one night but had two bath, huge bedroom, sitting area, dining room and living room. TV channels limited selection but found something. Gym is spacious with limited equipment but still gets the job done. Plenty of sidewalks to run on near. Shuttle driver was on my schedule but you can walk to terminal it is that close. Actually walked under 5 minutes after dropping off rental car night before but took shuttle as it was chilly in the AM. Service at hotel restaurant seemed overwhelmed but they did have some large amount of guests in there and only three staff. Did not have late enough flight to eat breakfast but carrot cake from restaurant in hotel was delicious. Front desk manager Ilse made excellent recommendation for dinner and honestly advised that it was a drive but worth it which it was

I had a reservation at a nearby hotel but drove by this location and thought I'd give it a try since I'm a Hilton Honors member. As a walk in sometimes your not sure what to expect but from the very start the front desk staff was overwhelmingly courteous and helpful, always smiling! Beatiful room, really nice restaurant and bar with more great staff. From now on when I'm flying out of Tucson this will be the place for me the night before.

Room Tip: Ask to be as close to the lobby as possible, my room was quite the hike but still worth it

Stayed here, as we had an early flight the next morning, it was right near the airport, and was a reasonable price. Although the furniture in the living rooms probably need a little bit of updating, it was a great stay. Rooms were clean and in good order. Staff was so very friendly and helpful. Had a great meal at the restaurant. Bed was super comfy and got a great nights sleep.

Unfortunately, the jacuzzi spa was out of service, but it was a bit too cold to go out there anyway. The free shuttle to the airport ran on-demand, so I got up and easily made my flight in the morning. Overall, very pleased and would stay here again.

This hotel is directly beside the airport, as in could not be closer, as in could not be louder. So - to compensate, they put me right at the front - so that I could also enjoy the sound of the busy roadway. Then as an added bonus, my air conditioning does not work - so the answer has been to bring a fan, and put it in front of my open balcony - trailer park style. The extra fun part is that NOT ONE staff member has even thought to apologize - let alone to consider this a sub par hotel experience. The only person who has any clue what service is was the kind maintenance person who at least brought the fan and tried to fix the unit - the "care" line won't even acknowledge my requests... Hideous experience - save yourself...
PS - The "fitness centre" is two broken treadmills in a room, the spa is perma out of service, and the vending and ice machines do not exist on the upper floors.

Hotel was ok, but not great.
TV service was being updated, so no in-room movies. TV guide wasnt working and there wasnt even a list of the channels in the room.
The hotel is either on "heat" or "a/c", cant have both. The day i was there the low was 10 and the high was 27, so at some point you are going to be either cold or hot. I called to have the air turned on and they said it had been switched over to heating and I should just open my window (none of the windows in my room were the kind that opened).
No apologies or useful suggestions for the TV or heat/ac issue.

The hotel is courtyard-style so all the rooms face inside and there is a sidewalk you use to get to your door, not a carpeted hallway. It looks nice but when a maintenance or housekeeping cart is pushed along the sidewalk, it makes a loud bump everytime the wheels go over the cracks. Sounds like nitpicking, but believe me, if youre asleep before it goes by, you wont be afterwards.

Staff was nice although not too helpful and there was plenty of parking. Had a problem with my toilet. It was fixed in 5 minutes and the maintenance man refused my tip!

5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

Six members of my family stayed here for one night prior to beginning a ranch vacation in Tucson. From the time we entered the lobby until we left on Sunday morning, we were pleased with the accomodations and personnel. There were three in each of our suites, and the children who slept on the pull-out couches said they were very comfortable.
The rooms were clean and spacious. If you want easy access to the airport, you can't get any closer than this - and we weren't disturbed with flight noise.
Some of our party used the heated pool and hot tub as well. Although there is a work-out room, it was undergoing some repair work, so we couldn't use it.
One of the nicest surprises came with the restaurant - Finnegan's, which is part of the hotel. We had a lovely dinner there (including coupons for free drinks!). They served a wide variety of food, from nachos and fajitas to stuffed chicken breast and grilled sea bass. Our waitress, Randy was SUPER! We stayed in the lounge area after dinner to have another drink and watch a football game. The entire experience was a delight.

Our front desk gentleman named Joel who checked us in on New Years Eve was excellent. It was a wonderful hotel. The courtyard was beautiful and the pool looked fun. The room was spacious and it was the perfect place to have our New Years Party. It had a microwave and refrigerator which were handy. The bath soaps were nice. Overall a great hotel.

Room Tip: The rooms are very spacious and include a pullout couch. Includes a microwave and a refrigerator.
