“Comfrotable stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

Rooms are pretty comfortable, but air conditioning has trouble keeping up sometimes. Cactus Rose restaurant was pretty good for breakfast and dinner. For breakfast they offer a buffet or you can order from the menu. Javelina Cantina was more casual, the food a little bland for my taste. Internet access was not that good. I kept losing my connection to the Internet. Warm cookies every night if you want. Large chcolate chip cookies are very good!
Lobby bar is a more relaxed atmosphere.

Room Tip: My coworker didn't like staying away from everyone else. Request a room in the tower to stay wit...

I have been to Tucson a few times and stayed at another resort. My husband had to come here for business and decided to join him. Read reviews on this hotel and most seemed positive so we went for it. The outside during the day doesnt look the greatest but was happy and relieved when we entered our room and saw it was clean and decorated nicely. The room has a flat screen television and a fridge hidden away under the tv. The room has a weird smell and the bathroom does not have an exhaust fan nor hairdryer of course the one time I decide not to bring mine. No information in the rooms about what is near the hotel. Movies are $17.99 which I thought was crazy. We had neighbors on each side of us and never heard a peep but people walking by the door sounded like they were in the room with us. These aren't really complaints as much as things I have noticed compared to other hotels we stayed at.

Room Tip: One of the rooms in the tower would have been nice because you would have s decent view.

I stay here every time I am in Tucson. I like the hotel and the location. It is close to good restaurants and a nice area to exercise. The fitness center is way better than a typical hotel, it is located in it's own building, adjacent to the pool. If you can, stay in one of the casitas, They are on the back end of the property and really nice.

Stayed overnight on a business trip in February. The staff was very friendly, check-in was quick and painless. The room was very nice with all the standard amenities for business travel. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great. I would recommend this as a place to stay when you're in Tucson.

Spent this past Friday night at this hotel (nameyourownprice site). Everything was fine ~ from check-in, to room cleanliness, to the pool view 6th floor tower room, to the location just off Broadway. We were not charged to connect to the internet. Did not eat here so can't vouch for the food. Would definitely stay here again:-)

Stayed here for a recent visit to U of Arizona. The room was clean and comfortable. Slept great! The location is fine --- a few miles from downtown and UofA, but close enough.

We had breakfast at the on-site restaurant -- it was good and reasonably priced. We did not have the buffet, instead just ordered off the menu. And if you want to get something light(er), there is a bagel shop a block up the road

Every hotel employee we encountered was friendly!

The hotel is what you expect. The room were big and clean and we had all the comforts we needed. They also have a very nice patio and a nice swimming pool. Receptionists were very nice and helpful and then the cookie you get at doubltree as soon as you arrive is always worthy.

Room Tip: We were not in the main building and the room on the ground floor have a nice patio in the garden.
