I just returned from my fourth stay in six months at the Arizona Inn. I have stayed in the "suite", "deluxe" and "premium" room catorgories. All are great. The suite was huge, with two rooms (one room was a living room with a f/p, desk area with a computer and fold out sofa bed, the other room was a huge master bedroom with a desk and sitting area). I don't see alot of difference between the deluxe and premium catorgories except maybe patio and room size. All the rooms are furnished in a comfy spanish style.

The staff is excellent any request is quickly done. The grounds are peaceful and quite lush. You would have no idea you were in the desert if it weren't for the heat. The hotel is on 14 acres, and is quite spread out. If you have problems with mobility, request a room closer to the front lobby.

Room service is excellent and fast. I have not eaten in the main restaurant, but I have eaten in the bar patio several times. The bar patio is a busy place on weekend nights. The service is sloooow there, but the patio is so pretty at night that it just gives you more time to relax. The food is very good - maybe a little pricey - but very good, with the hamburger and the chicken quesidilla being big enough to feed two! The pool area is very pretty and serene. There are alot of little touches that add to your experience - the complimentary bottled water, the box of welcome chocolates, in-room starbucks coffee, and plush robes.

If you go in the off season, they have special rate that includes breakfast and an evening ice cream bar. Both are by the pool area and are very good.

Now the Inn is not the cheapest place to stay, but when you need a break from the college area madness, this is the place to be. It is worth the money.

The Arizona Inn was a great place to stay. We recently attended a wedding in Tucson and got a great price for airfair and hotel. I had heard great things about the Arizona Inn and they were all true.

We arrived late since our flight was delayed. In our room there was fresh pitcher of lemonade and some sandwiches. The grounds were beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable. I really felt like I was in a very exclusive resort even though it's right in the middle of town.

The service was exceptional and the free breakfast choices were great. You could order room service, eat in the dinning room or have a buffet breakfast by the pool. They also have a free ice cream bar poolside in the evenings.

I have family in Tucson and plan to make the Arizona Inn my place to stay when I go visit.

We stayed at the inn for 3 days and from the minute we checked in to when we left was superb. The staff were helpful especially by the poolside no sooner had you sat down they would come to you with cold water to drink. Breakfast by the pool is a lovely idea the food was delicious ,also the ice cream bar at night went down very well !!. Would love to return.

I recently spent the night at the Arizona Inn after a long absence. It was a pleasant surprise to see the updating that has occured. Rooms now feature free high-speed Internet access and flat-panel televisions. These technological advancements bring the property into the 21st Century, yet the Arizona Inn has retained all of its historic character and attentive service. Rooms are tastfully decorated and well-appointed with comfortable bed linens. Staff are gracious and responsive to all requests. The dining room continues to produce impressive and innovative cuisine.

Of course, one of the main benefits of the Arizona Inn is its convenient location. While there are several large and opulent resorts of the north side of Tucson, there is no other luxury property so close to downtown Tucson and the University of Arizona. The summer rate, which features free ice cream sundaes and full breakfast each day, is a particularly good value.

This was our second time staying at the Arizona Inn, having stayed previously for a wedding. It was so wonderful then, that we've always wanted to return. We chose to take advantage of their Spring Getaway package, which included a deluxe (600 sq ft) room with private patio, a welcome package of wine and a fruit/cheese/cracker basket in the room on arrival, dinner in the main dining room one evening, and free breakfast two mornings. As before, the service on arrival and throughout the stay was thoroughly warm, inviting, helpful, and efficient. Dinner in the main dining room was the chef's three-course tasting menu with wine pairings, and was a wonderful experience. Breakfast both mornings was the pool-side buffet, and was very good with nice items on the buffet and great service. For both dinner and breakfast, a la carte options were also available. We also took advantage of the Inn's complementary bicycle loans. We received two brand-new urban commuter-style bikes, complete with filled water bottles, and enjoyed an hour's ride exploring the neighborhood around the Inn. The Inn itself, at only 83 rooms, never feels crowded, rushed, or over-sprawled. The grounds are wonderful to walk around and explore. Upon (regretably) checking out of the Inn, we were ready to explore some of the parks and nature sights on the way from Tucson to Phoenix, and the concierge was extremely friendly and helpful in recommending some fun places to explore. Another perfect weekend at the Arizona Inn!
