Remember, Los Nopales is a small hole in the wall family run cafe, not a large chain type restaurant.
There is nothing fancy about the atmosphere its homey and clean. Prices were down right cheap.
This is no tourist trap, many locals eat here. We found it by accident when returning from Tombstone to our bed and breakfast Casa Tiera..At first could not find the front door as we parked in the rear near tyhe cooks enterance. We made it 45 minutes before closing, yet were promptly served with large portions of authentic Mexican food. Again nothing fancy at all, but we were hungry and pressed for time, not looking for more than a good reasonable meal at fair prices. One reviewer gave a one rating. To that I say you can never please everyone. But if your in the neighborhood please don't pass this opportunity up. I love the fact that a mom & pop cafe can still be found serving delicous authentic food at a fair price. $18.00 including the tip and two beers.(Oct 2011) In a world of corp owned cookie cutter restaurants, this was a refreshing gem to find. Do yourself a favor and check it out and be the judge.
