This pocket Embassy Suites offers great summer rates with all the amenities of an Embassy Suites. It is hot in town but this well located hotel is near shopping and great dining. A large movie theater is just a few miles away on the same road.

Rating between poor and average!!
years ago we found this hotel - it was wonderful, reception great, clean room(s), great evening reception and the next morning a wonderful choice of breakfast items.
Sorry , but that is a story of the past. The only wonderful point left is the view towards the mountain, if you are lucky to get at room with a great view. Everything else must have fallen under "cutting services": breakfast does not have the great choices anymore - managers reception choices have been cut as well. And the traveler who knows Embassy Suites (in general), will find here smaller rooms than normal. (Maybe it was us who only happened to end up in the same kind of small room-type...?) Visiting Tuscon again, we'll stay at different Hotels now.

Dear 90foodforthought,

Thank you for staying with us at our hotel. I appreciate your candor; we look for reviews to provide insight into our hotel. We are a boutique, custom built Embassy Suites hotel, so our rooms do have a unique layout not common of most Embassy Suite hotels. We are actively examining our breakfast and social hour offerings, and I welcome any additional comments or suggestions you would like to share so we may work to make it right. I would be very interested to hear about what changes to our offerings you noticed; and would look forward to hearing more specifics, as we have continued to offer the full cooked to order breakfasts that all Embassy hotels do, as well as multiple light snack offerings customary to Embassy Suites hotels. Please contact me at amber.harkin@hilton.com so we can discuss the changes further and I can welcome you back on your next trip to Tucson.

Regards,
Amber Harkin
General Manager

It was a quiet stay which was nice for a business traveler. Happy hour 5:30-7:30 was great. Staff was great. Lots of kids running around though. It's across the street from shopping area which is nice. In the same parking lot of CVS and a lot of restaurants. Could have done without the kids.

Except for accuracy of reservations, the guest / lodging experience was favorable. The guest room was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The menu options of the complimentary breakfast and seating accomodations were ample.

Great accommodations, friendly staff, fabulous view. Terrific value. Very convenient - just a few steps away from some of the best restaurants in Tucson. Hearty breakfast available on site - Missed the evening reception but I heard it is fun.

This is a very nice hotel in a great part of town. Close enough to the airport but far enough out not to have to deal with traffic or hear the planes. Quite, peaceful but still close to shopping and restaurants (within walking distance). Very friendly staff and terrific breakfast buffets! The suites are a nice size and comfortable. The patio was a little goofy in that there is a wall that helps with privacy but doesn't allow for a view. Plus, it is VERY small. But, given there are plenty of other outside seating areas at the facility, not really a big deal.

The Embassy Suites Tucson lived up to the reputation of the Embassy Suites brand. The level of service, quality of room and amenities were simply outstanding. The free internet service and complimentary breakfast topped this top-notch hotel. Not a resort, but certainly fit the bill for being a business friendly venue while visiting Tucson. Highly recommend - will be back next time I am in town - for sure!
