“Delicious, classy seafood restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2014 via mobile

A treat. Good place for special occasions. Wonderful food. All four of us loved our seafood entrees and look forward to returning. Ambience dressy / upscale, kinda quiet, kinda fancy, some could say a bit "stuffy." (But not me!) Very enjoyable experience here. My bro-in-law said his fish dish was the best he'd had anywhere and he's been to Hawaii on numerous occasions! Wow! Service not particularly memorable but very good, nonetheless. Main thing that stands out here is the FOOD!

“Great Seafood”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2014

A Great Seafood Place.
We recently spent a summer visiting 45 harbours in New England where took on the task of testing Lobster rolls and clam chowder at every stop. We're thrilled to find a restaurant in the desert that can offer dishes to compete with our top ten list from New England.
The restaurant has a more formal dining area upstairs with the decor subdued and modern. Outdoor dining is available on both levels
Service however is slow and servers don't have the timing and polish they should.
We like it and we're coming back.

“Party Perfect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2014 via mobile

We recently had Dad's 8th birthday party for 18 people at the Bluefin Seafood Bistro. The staff was attentive, and the food was excellent. The cashew encrusted Hawaiian fish was prepared perfectly. The Mahi was delicate and delicious. We arrived early and enjoyed several Happy Hour specials, too. The caring service made our evening very memorable.

“Seafood in the Desert”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2014

We make it a ritual to go to the Bluefin every year when we go to Arizona for Christmas. We have never eaten upstairs in the restaurant as we love to go for their Happy Hour and eat at the bar or lounge table. What keeps us coming back is the great seafood we get there. Oysters, steamed clams, steamed mussels. As I am gluten free it was nice to have the barmaid say to me "Are you the lady who brings her gluten free bread with her every year?" She remembered me, Liz, and it made my day. Chris the other bartender are very attentive and helpful. They mentioned that they had fresh clams on the half shell that were excellent. Brought me a sample to try and from there we ordered them. They were so right! We will be moving to AZ this year and will be seeing them more often. They are located in the Tucson area and we travel from the Scottsdale area to go there. Just enjoy going and staying for the night at the El Conquistador and eating at Bluefin. Their menu is extensive and all items are delicious.

“Seafood???”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2014

Overpriced food, not bad tasting, not a lot of it, but certainly have had better. I guess this passes for a seafood restaurant in Tucson but I have had better at a Koni . There is outside seating, a bar on the bottom floor and window seating upstairs...all of which is just ordinary.
