“Fine park in city”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

It's hard to find an oasis with water in the desert, this one is OK. Busy and loud, but ok. It has green space and playgrounds!

“Rose Garden”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

The Rose Garden is a separate fenced garden off the parking lot at Reid Park and TripAdvisor should really list it as a separate attraction just like it did with Reid Park Zoo, since it is not similar to anything around it. The Rose Garden is difficult to find since it is not signed very well. Enter off S Country Club Rd. There are two entrances off S. Country Club Road, take the second entrance north of E 22nd Street and stay to the right once in the park.
The Rose Garden is very large and is laid out in a circular pattern with a pavilion in the centre, and radial sidewalks from the centre. Keep in mind that Tucson is in the desert. The garden will be better after the rainy season - such as in the early fall.

“It's all happening near the zoo!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2012

With plenty of pavillions and open areas for picnics large and small, the largest public pools in Tucson (including a warm water therapeutic pool), a bandstand for concerts in the spring and fall (funding permitting), and the ZOO! Reid Park is a great outing for the family any time of year.
