“Great sandwiches”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

Best choices of fresh baked breads and pastries. Sandwiches are ample and reasonably priced. Visit the 3 stores in Tucson frequently

“Love the bread and the sandwiches!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

I was at Beyond Bread years ago and this time my visit to Tucson allowed me time to revisit.
The sandwiches are great and plentiful. A half a sandwich is comparable to a whole sandwich anywhere else. The ingredients are fresh. The sandwiches are delicious. I ate there a couple of times within a 5 day visit. Wish they had a branch in New York City!

“Excellent all around”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2013

Just amazingly wonderful bread, sandwiches, soups, drinks. The rustic bread and rye bread are outstanding. Very helpful and hospitable staff. Best choice for a sandwich for many miles around. Stock up on bread for home. One thing: the pretzels are U.S. style, not European style. Dough needs density and springiness. A minor detail for a great place.

A fine assortment of sandwiches (for lunches mostly.) Some wonderful breads, the raisen Cholla especially. Very good service.

“Great Sandwiches and Excellent Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Beyond Bread makes wonderful sandwiches that put every other sandwich place in Tucson to shame. The sandwiches are huge, reasonably priced (under $8.00), and served so quickly by the well trained staff that you've hardly been seated before they come. The crowd is largely university students and faculty and the conversation is lively and interesting. If you're an older person like I am it's thrilling to hear the young students discuss their lives, course work and futures. It makes you feel all is right for the future. It's noisy so you may want to sit outdoors where it's quieter. BB makes a large variety of wonderful bread and pastries. The pastries are outrageously great. Ample parking, busy at noon hour, great service and wonderful food.
