“Only getting better,”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2010

I know, GRILL has been around for 150 years, etc. But the past month I've noticed some really positive changes - new wine and expanded beer list, freshly made doughnuts in the morning (5 star!) and the desserts have been fantastic (3 out of 4 I would say) for the first time in what feels like a long time. Love the lunch specials,

Servers have always been friendly to me and its refreshingt o see some new things happening at this classic tucson diner and bar,

“Grill, I've only told Paul about you 100+ Times!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2010

The Grill is not crappy Diner food. It is wonderful, tasty, nicely portioned diner food! The tots are fried to a nice crunchy crispness and the burger is big and always cooked to my request. The pesto tortellini is out of this world, not to mention the creamy pesto sauce you can get as a side! They make a great rueben and chicken salad sandwich, I also love there portabella mushroom cap with hummus. I have been to the grill sober, I have been there drunk, I have been there in the afternoon and in the wee early morning hours. I have been going for almost ten years and will continue to do so whenever I go back to my hometown of Tucson, unless something about it drastically changes. The photo booth in the red room should be memorialized if it ever dies.

One of the only 24/hr places downtown. Quirky. Live music. A little pricey for what it is. Pasta is good. Sandwiches ok. Breakfast good.
