Anna's Bottle House has to be the most amazing B&B in existence! The bottle house almost defies description. It isn't round; it isn't square. Instead the bottle and rock cottage sort of meanders this way and that accomodating built in seating, a platform bed, an elevated toilet, and an astonishing waterfall shower. There's a dining area, a living area, a bedroom, a bathroom, and the wonderful waterfall shower. The bottles used range from clear Pepsi bottles to amber colored beer bottles to green wine bottles. When the sun strikes them, the effect is quite beautiful. Interspersed with the bottles are smooth rocks completing the very organic cottage. But, wait, there's more! Included with the cottage is a large outdoor ramada that has a full kitchen, a sofa, another seating area, and an outdoor pool table with elephant legs! The property has other interesting structures made from bottles, and it's just an amazing adventure to wander around and take it all in. The host, Dolores, is extremely gracious and accomodating and wonderfully interesting to talk to. Her three beautiful dogs are fun too. The bed is extremely comfortable, and all the ingredients for breakfast are in the room, so you can eat whenever you like. The B&B is a few miles out of town, so the stars at night have no competition from artificial light . Very nearby are the Sonoran desert museum and Old Tucson Studios which make for fun side trips. Staying at the bottle house is an experience anyone going to Tucson should have!
