We can't say enough about this place. It was a great location....easy drive to lots of good restaurants, but on a quiet street. The hosts were fabulous and really went the extra mile. They had evening cookies, tea and other goodies available and the breakfasts were amazing.

As first-time visitors to Tucson, I can't think of a better place to have stayed then here, as it is a very relaxing and nurturing. The hosts were gracious and generous. They made us feel like we were truly guests in their home, and not just people passing through. It was the kind of place where once you've stayed there, you can't help but wonder why you waited so long to enjoy yourself. Although I'm usually the type of person to want to "go, go, go," it was pretty easy to just, "stay, stay, stay."

Quiet. Peaceful. Truly gourmet breakfasts served with flair. Interesting hosts. Incredible setting. Lots to photograph on-site. Would definitely stay again!

If you are going to be in Tucson, do yourself a favour and try to get a reservation at the Azure Gate B&B.
The Azure Gate is situated in a wonderful residential area just outside the Tucson city limits. Staying at this B&B is like coming home to quiet solitude and relaxation after a busy day of seeing the sights.
Dennis and Christine are the type of hosts that make visiting Tucson a joy. You will want to keep coming back to stay with them. And the breakfasts are to die for.
We were lucky enough to find the Azure Gate B&B four years ago and have been coming back every year since.

I have stayed at a lot of B&B's in my day...this one is the best! Christine and Dennis are helpful, charming and excellent host. Breakfast is excellent! Rooms are quiet and delightful. The grounds are beautiful. In addition, the location of this property is great for hikers as it provides easy access the great local hiking. You won't want to leave :)

This was our first stay. My husband and I found the Azure Gate on the internet and stayed 3 nights (I wish it could have been longer). This is the nicest B&B I have ever stayed at. Beautiful lodging and grounds with so many special touches. Both the owners and the other guests were wonderful people that we loved enjoying breakfast with. And the breakfasts! I took pictures of them they were so beautifully presented! Absolutely gourmet and delicious. We also got great tips on where to go hiking in the area from the owners. My husband and I will no doubt be going back to the Azure Gate - we had an absolutely wonderful stay. Shelly & Charlie from Minnesota

We took relaxing strolls around the property every morning and listened to the birds sings. Read the paper, had some great coffee and a wonderful breakfast each day.
They are very conscientious of special diet concerns and let me tell you they go out of their way everyone has a fabulous meal each morning whether you are a Non vegetarian, vegetarian, vegan or even have gluten allergies.

We stayed in the Santa Ana Cottage and loved it! Bright open air feeling with high huge windows and cozy decor. Although, the next time we visit we will pick a room without a loft - Getting up and down the narrow stairway to and from the room was a little scary in the dark of the night. I'm a wimp though and in my younger years would have enjoyed it. The cottage was stocked with drinks in the refrigerator, nibbles and candies on the coffee table. We could have stayed a month!

We highly recommend Azure Gate!
