“Excellent restaurant with an amazing patio and view!”

A must visit! The fine dining and happy hour are both a treat! A must visit for either experience! And if you are just upfor the happy hour....the view of Tucson at night is gorgeous!

“Very under-whelming!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013

I found the food in Nino's to be very ordinary! Although the "8 for 8" Happy Hours special is a good deal - the drinks were very good but the food was no better than what I've had in any other "chain" restaurant!! I found the decor to be over-whelming and not in a good way!!! It seems like they couldn't decide what style they were going for and if you're going to hang paintings don't make them "prints" that I've seen in museums!!! Make them original.

“50 50 getting what you paid for. Mediocre at best.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013 via mobile

Service service service. The people he has are crap. I give this restaurant 2 years before he has no choice but to close the doors. Tucson has wonderful places to eat where you actually get what you pay for. Just hope you don't see how your food is handled, stored, then seved with a smiling face. Eat else where...you been warned.

“Back East in Tucson”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2013 via mobile

We went to Five Palms for my husbands birthday. There were 8 of us. The decor is beautiful and reminds one of a fine restaurant in New York or Chicago. This is definitely a "special occasion" restaurant. It's pricey, but the food is very good. Service was somewhat slow. One couple didn't get their vegetable side dish until they were nearly finished with their entree. I had French onion soup and crab claws. The soup was very good, but only lukewarm. The claws were delicious. They have a cucumber salad made with feta cheese and mint that was very refreshing. My friend and I ordered a Anaheim pepper stuffed with cheese appetizer. When it arrived it was just that: one pepper on a plate. All in all, it was an interesting evening. We will go back and try the upstairs casual dining.

“New Eclectic Dining Spot”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2013

Where the old Cafe Terra Cotta used to be we now have a classy restaurant, chic outdoor bar and sunset patio, cigar and gourmet wine and food shop in a very eclectic and unusual setting. The colored glass ceilings and waiters in black tie are reminiscent of dinner in a cruise ship while the faux art work on the walls gives it something of a European feel.
