“Great photo ops.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013

If you have a few hours and want to travel up a road with great photo opportunities, this is a terrific drive. You will go through several eco systems and the rock formations are spectacular. Beautiful drive.

“Best sights in Tucson”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

The scenic drive up to the summit of Mt. Lemmon was truly stunning. We went on a day with a little clouds and rain, and it really was a fun ride. We were treated to a couple of waterfalls that were flowing from some earlier rains, and the patchy, dense fog patches we ran into over 7000 ft.made the drive even more exciting. Temperatures were about 95 in the valley, yet only 58 at the summit. Nice way to get out of the summer heat, take in some beautiful scenery, and spend a relaxing 3 hours.

Towards the summit, there is a small village called Summerhaven, and there are a few neat little shops / restaurants there that are worth a visit. It is definitely a must-see if you are visiting the Tucson area.

“Nice break from the heat.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

This is a short drive out of the heat and it's a must during our summers. We usually pack a light dinner and drive up the mountain to eat while the sun sets. Make sure you bring a sweater because it's always 20 degrees cooler than Tucson. The breeze makes it cooler.

“Beautiful mountains”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013

The drive to the top of Mt. Lemmon was beautiful and compared to the Flagstaff, Grand Canyon, Prescott. The weather was just right for June--in the 80's when it was 98 in Tuscon. We had a picnic and just chilled out. We will definitely return as it is closer from ou home. Definitely worth a trip.

“Enjoyed the ski lift”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013

Liked: The beautiful scenery and ski lift at the top of Mt. Lemon. It took about an hour to drive up the mountain, but the drive was pretty.

Disliked: The two employees inside the gift shop where lift tickets were purchased were very rude.
