“Lets go to the show!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

I love this place. The shows are interactive and done with a funny twist. You can order food and have a meal or ice cream during the show. The theater is cozy and the tables are very small. You will probably be sitting very close to someone you don't know. The musicians play all the music and sound effects live during the show which gives it a nice touch. The shows fill up fast so buy tickets in advance. I can't wait to go again and you shouldn't either.

“A FUN TIME !!!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

My wife and I saw the Arizona Smith Show - a great spoof on Indiana Jones. The cast was really talented - good singers with a great sense of humor. The best laughs were the unscripted moments when they broke down laughing. The band was excellent, especially the piano player. We enjoyed the old time theatre and many laughs with their slapstick humor. A plus was after the Arizona Smith Show, the cast did a preview of the upcoming Brady Bunch.

“A Tucson institution of fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013

The Gaslight (it's one word, not two) recently celebrated its 35th anniversary. I saw the first two shows because they were written by the son of one of the partners at my law firm. He quit appearing in them some time ago, but he's still writing them. Since then, I've probably been 15-20 times, most recently in May along with nine relatives ranging in age from 5 to 47, only three of whom had been before, and it was a blast. The performers are very talented and just seem to have a great time putting on their silly shows. The puns can be awful at times, but it's fun to boo the villains and cheer for the good guys, and the choice of songs can be just perfect, many times with new lyrics to fit the storyline. Most of the audience had grey hair, as do I, but they get just as into the swing of things as the kids.

“Fun yet silly”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013 via mobile

This theater had great character and a fun atmosphere. Arizona Smith was funny although a little corny. The actors did a great job of improvising and those unscripted moments were the funniest. Amazing piano player...she stole the show!
