“photography”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013

A bit unusual to find a museum dedicated to photography. The exhibits, only 2, were very interesting and very well arranged and explained. The disappointment is the lost oppportunity. They have hundreds of Ansel Adams in storage and none on display. Near the University Museum of Art.

“Unique art center”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

The Center contains the archives for several famous photographers and because of that alone, it is a treasure, Exhibit space is limited but if you are interested in photography and in Tucson, this is a must see and free as well.

Went to the "Made in Arizona" Exhibit. Fascinating exhibit. I do like to visit here, second time I came and I'll be back.

“Don's miss this if you love photography”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2012

This is a truly amazing photography museum. The permanent collection is mind-boggling. The temporary exhibits always contain fantastic themes of works. It's always amazing to see the actual photographs of icons you have seen so many times in books.

“Best photographic works in the nation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2012

Where else can you go and see the original works of Ansel Adams along with other great photographers? This is the place to go and see wonderful works of art. On the U of A campus.
