“Awesome zoo - easy to see the animals”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2013

The Reid Park Zoo is really impressive. They have a lot of exotic animals (zebras, lions, monkeys, a polar bear) and they're easy to see. The zoo isn't really big, and that's great because it's very easy to walk around and see the whole thing. I like this zoo about ten times more than the Phoenix Zoo because you can really see the animals up close here.

“Nice Zoo, Low admission price and free parking”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2013

Good size zoo, well layed out. Miss the polar bears, but nice group of anteatters and regular zoo inhabitants.

“Small but very nice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2013

Nice place to spend 2-3 hours. Decorated for the holidays. Very logically organized and clean property. The animals look very content. I especially like the Elephant exhibit, which is very large and designed more for the Elephants than the public. The property includes a typical zoo food court, but I found the food selections to be better and more diverse than most other zoos. The gift shop is also very typical, but I did find a special "King" t-shirt I had to buy!!!!

Reid Park provides reciprocal discounts for many zoos (including my home Memphis Zoo). There is ample free parking.

“Worth a visit”

This is not a must see in Tucson but it is a nice place to spend two or three hours wandering around looking at the animals. Well laid out and free parking.

“Quaint little Zoo”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2013

Wasn't a big zoo but they did have a lot of animals and the grounds were kept up nicely. The animal exhibits were well kept, clean and the animals looked like they were well taken care of. Price was on $8 I believe so was a great way to spend a few hours and not break the bank.
