“Gardens and Butterfly House”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2014

The gardens are well maintained. We especially enjoyed the butterfly house, probably would not have gone if the butterfly house was closed (open only in the "winter months").

“Enjoyable excursion”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2014

These gardens did a quality job of presenting many styles in a relatively small space with quality signage.

“Very Nice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2014

This is a great place to visit in Tucson. The specimens are outstanding and the butterflies are just amazing, don't miss them. Cool and shady in many areas but there are some exposed areas so take a hat. Don't miss this!

“Much more extensive than they seem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2014

It looks like a small private garden, but once you are inside, it goes on and on. We happily spent 3 hours here. They have a wonderful butterfly exhibit (seasonal) and a really nice cafe.

So glad that you enjoyed your time with us. The size and arragement of our Garden is always a surprise to those unfamiliar with the Tucson Botanical Gardens. We have an incredible group of volunteers and professional statt and I'll be sure to pass on your kind words to them. Thanks for visiting!

“Bring the Kids”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2014

This is a low key botanical garden that is a perfect place to bring the kids. There are many hands-on activities and a butterfly enclosure that will surely be a hit (even for the adults). Not recommended for the hard-core botanist, but nice for a few hours of nature for the youngsters.
