It's a cool place to visit in Tucson. If one is interested in botany or plants/gardens, this is the place for you.

“desert blooms and gardens”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2012

A variety of gardens of desert plants and gardens representing the diverse cultures of Arizona. The day we were there, they were offering tastes of desert foods including cacti. The gardens are charming, relaxing, and uniquely Southwestern. The gift shop is really nice for--gifts! We will visit again.

What a fascinating, in-depth look at desert flora! Well-laid-out, and maintained, and most informative! The butterfly exhibit was an extra treat.

“Ok but just OK”

Maybe I had just seen too much beautiful desert by the time we visited the Botanical Gardens, but I felt like they were in need of manicuring.
