This nature park is a beautiful getaway in the middle of Tucson. We also enjoy the gift shop and tea room and art displays.

“Take Older Visitors Here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

This is a gem in the intermediate desert of the Sonoran Desert. The trails are very short and are all easy. There are multiple ramadas and places to stop/sit. Lots of docents giving talks or special instructor times. Spring & fall see migration times of birds/butterflies and so extra special viewing. The spring flower times are gorgeous.

“Beautiful botanical garden”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Gorgeous grounds to walk through. Beautiful native plants on the grounds and an excellent nursery. Great gift shops with local items. Go for breakfast of lunch, great restaurant. Have events throuout the year...concerts, walkways lit with luminarias at Christmas, blooming of the Queen of the night.

“A sanctuary in the city!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Love it!! An afternoon of good food and a serene setting with abundant beautiful plants and trees. Take this one for a great time out to relax and enjoy. Going through the park is a great learning experience and I love the plant sale center. I take all of my out of town guests there for lunch, it is like being in a peaceful garden.
