Historic and very educational. Gem in the desert! We liked the museum main house. Desert landscape is awesome.

“Natural oasis in the city”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

This park is only 15 minutes (or less) from a lot of the resorts like Hacienda del Sol, Westin, Westward Look. If you can't get out to the Desert Museum, this is the next best thing. Short desert loop hikes, demonstration gardens, a cooling riparian area, very nice gift shops and great restaurant!

“Great little park in Tucson”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2012

Wonderful little park, with interesting paths, named plants, two gift shops, a small indoor-outdoor restaurant, interesting displays, classes, etc. We always take visitors here as it's very easy to get to, and well worth an hour or two.
