I have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Westward Look. I had a wonderful stay there. As you enter the property, you go up a long driveway with desert landscaping. The lobby where you check in was to me reminiscent of the old west or a mexcican hacienda. The check-in was quick and efficient and they marked on a map where the unit I was stying in was located. I did have a little trouble finding my building, but once there, I was favorably impressed. I had reserved a standard posada room and it was quite large with a small patio in front. The room was decorated in a dark terracotta color and a mexican style tile in the bathroom.
I believe there are 3 pools on the property, but I only visited the one nearest my building.
I did not use either of the restaurants: the Gold Room or the Lookout Bar and Grill but they looked like they had some tasty selections.
I was only there 3 nights and was using the hotel as a base for sightseeing in the Tucson area and not as a destination resort, so I didn't use the tennis, spa, or horseback riding facilities.
The hotel is beautifully landscaped using natural desert plantings and of course you have the mountains and desert as a backdrop.
I was very happy with having chosen this hotel and will definitely return there in the future.
