“Nice hotel, great location”

Stayed here two nights while visiting nearby college. Staff was friendly, hotel and room were clean. Had a Jr. Suite - king bed with sofa bed. When I made the res. I was told sofa bed "isn't like Grandma's sofa bed", but it was. No biggie, but not sure why she would have said that. So of course, I expected something different - bit of a disappointment. Wouldn't prevent me from staying again though. Great location for walking city.

Most accessible to the Convention Center! Both the room and our business suite met the needs of our convention delegation. The catering department met our needs efficiently and we had a most positive experience at the Omni. We look forward to future stays at Omni Hotels throughout the country.

Our family of 4 stopped here enroute to Cape Cod. We picked the Omni just because we could use the free night we had earned, and we were pleasantly surprised. We were given a king room, a rollaway at no charge, and goodie bags for the kids. The location was just perfect off of 95, buffet breakfast (which we paid for) was great. People were friendly. I would stay here again.

This is a very well run hotel. I can see that it is due for some renovations, which they have announced. But even in it's current form, we had a very good stay. We spent 6 nights in a DD room for a major conference, and slept well and had all that we needed. We were on an upper floor, and the elevators were fast and even at busy times, efficient. Room had a small refrig, which was great. As a Select Guest customer, I enjoyed the morning beverage service & appreciated the comped wifi.

We had some problems with key-cards, and heard that other guests did too, but this was minor. Our only other minor issues: the mattresses were new in the past 12 months or so (and very good!), unfortunately they went with regular doubles, not double XL (aka a Hotel Double, which is more typical) that is the length of a queen. We slept well but would have felt it was a full luxury hotel with longer beds (we're both 6'2"). We had to call a few times to get the a/c thermostat reset for our comfort, engineering was fast and accommodating.

We didn't end up using the pool, which was surprisingly small and shallow. Fitness center looked great but the conference was intense, so no time time use it.

Overall, as part of a long trip with many hotels, the Omni Providence stood out as a favorite!

Room Tip: South side is probably quieter. Upper floors have views.

The Omni Hotel provided the perfect accommodations while attending college graduation because of the enclosed walkway connecting the hotel with the Convention Center and the shopping mall. There was no worry about weather or walking distance. The rooms were spacious, clean and a reserved at a very good group rate of $126. I will stay there again. Staff was very accommodating, restaurants were great.

Maids were banging their cleaning carts against door and wall in hallway early in the morning. We were awakened quite early when we were planning to sleep a little late. Their voices were also quite loud. I would expect management of a luxury

I stayed in a few different hotels in Providence before finding the Omni during a AAA special. I had assumed this hotel would be super expensive but for the quality, the rates are extremely reasonable even without AAA. This hotel is absolutely beautiful. Well-appointed, super clean rooms, many with great views of the city. This hotel has a great pool, hot tub and well-equipped gym. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. This hotel offers you the opportunity to create a free membership account. Absolutely worth the time as it allows you to request free amenities such as extra pillows, towels and even corner rooms. This is my go-to in Providence whenever I visit.
