“Old World Charm...and old world...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

Stayed here for a weekend night in November; Never seen a room with two King beds before which was impressive by itself. The hotel has the old world charm as well as other things which come with old world like extremely slow elevators....looked tired and a little ghostly...and yes; somehow lawn mowers and construction workers were in full flight at 7:30AM on weekend morning...

Just walking into the Biltmore in Providence is enough to send you back to another era. From the magnificent lobby to the grand staircase you are transported to a time when hotels meant luxury. The staff greet you with warmth and graciousness telling stories of a bygone time. The Biltmore is at the same time the oldest hotel in Providence and the newest, with its recent remodel. The rooms have been upgraded with modern amenities while still maintaining their old world charm. If you can book a suite it is well worth the money. The beds are cozy and the windows open. Ask for a view of the Capitol and of the ice skating rink in the winter.
You wont regret staying at the Biltmore and will come back for more!

The hotel was clean and all staff we encountered were friendly and courteous. The beds were super comfy, and the hotel's location was perfect for a weekend trip with friends. I would definitely recommend the Providence Biltmore to anyone looking for accommodations in Providence!

This hotel used to be elegant and the place to stay but now it is run down and no one at the property seems to know what they are doing. Room service is a joke - sometimes you get utensils sometimes you don't and the restaurant downstairs (Mccormick and Schmidts?) is usually one of my favorites but this one was a nightmare - bad service and cold food and we were the only people in the restaurant!

Beautiful hotel, comfy accommodations. Phenomenal staff. Great city access. It could be a little loud with the parking garage in the back but, you are in the heart of the city. Loved it. Wouldn't change a thing

Room Tip: You are in the heart of the city. The back side of the hotel is up against a parking garage. Amazing...

I stayed in a Presidential Suite for my bday. Room 1444 to be exact. I was upgraded and that was awesome. If you are looking to splurge it is TOTALLY worth it.

Great amenities, super comfortable bed, great furnishings and a very functional small kitchen. I was very impressed with the bathrooms, very high end. The larger suites such as the Noble, presidential and grande suites are incredible period.

You get a large bathroom with a half bathroom, a large living room area to entertain and a full dining room table. The two televisions are awesome and LCD's. The view is beautiful from the higher floors.

Room service was excellent. The food was hot and tasty and we'll priced in my opinion.

The Biltmore is a charming hotel. They don't make them like this anymore. It's grand and modern but keeps it 1920's historic charm. The valet parking is also top notch hands down. I will be coming back to this hotel.....I was incredibly impressed.

Stayed here (finally!) for the 1st time and wish I was staying longer.

I knew this was going to be a great stay immediately upon arriving given the lobby was very tastefully decorated for the holidays and the lights, trees all around the classical architectural finishes and moldings and columns and capitals was incredibly beautiful.

This classic hotel beauty is perfectly situated in the middle of walkable Providence amongst a whole slew of other classical architectural gems. I was given an 8th floor corner room that had a sitting/living area and the bedroom was separated by French style doors, 2 flat screen TV's and a BIG walk-in closet. The complimentary WiFi was quite impressive (I checked and clocked in at 18mbps d-load speeds). The bathroom, albeit a bit small, was nice, brightly lit and compared to today's new, sterile hotels, even had a window in it - love it!

I look forward to staying again and hopefully take in a spa treatment.

Room Tip: Try my room - corner on the 8th floor. Great views!
