The best thing about this hotel is the LOCATION. It was very central to everything downtown - the mall across the street where there are many restaurants to the nice stroll to the state capitol. It's a little tricky to drive there from the interstate because you have to pass the hotel before you get to the main entrance; and if you can't find parking in the few spaces in front of the hotel, you have to drive around the block to the free garage parking underneath the hotel that has direct access to the lobby.

The room itself was very comfortable - it was nice and clean. The bed was very soft, but it was a bit too soft for my liking. The view from the room was spectacular since we had a great view of the capitol. There were adequate stations on the television, and a nice indoor pool. The ice machine and soda machine were right outside our door, so that was very convenient for us.

As for the hotel staff, the front desk people were very rude. They weren't the most helpful people at the hotel. I had issues with my bill, and they spoke down to me, which I didn't appreciate. I also had some other questions about heating up some leftover food the next morning, and it seemed as if I was bothering them with a question.

Aside from the hotel staff, the hotel was great, and I would definitely recommend staying here if you find a great price for a room!

Stayed for 2 nites and was very pleased. The room was modern and the bed was fairly comfortable. There was plenty of dresser space for 2 people. (Although we didn't use much) Everything was clean and organized. The location is GREAT! There are nice restaurants right outside the hotel doors and a gigantic mall 3 blocks away. It is located in a safe/well lit section of town as well. The parking is a little expensive but convienent and secure. The is definately a good choice.

Lovely hotel in a great area! This hotel is new to the area and is beautifully decorated. The rooms are very clean and the service was wonderful. There is 1 restaurant that is open for breakfast and room service is also available. The hotel is located near tons of awesome restaurants and a huge shopping mall. It is also a great place to stay if you want to see the water fire which is held mostly in the summer months. Lots of fun! There is also an indoor pool and a small gym for anyone who wants to work out. Great place to stay!

This hotel is located in the heart of downtown Providence. Across the street from Providence Place Mall, and Water Place Park where the waterfire display is on the weekends. You are within walking distance to many great restaurants surrounding the hotel & close to Federal Hill which is a Little Italy. The hotel staff was friendly & helpful. The rooms & interior were updated sometime in 2008. Overall a nice place to stay & a great location.

Great location & easy to get to off 95. Rooms were large & modern. Free internet that worked great for me. Waterfire is just outside hotel. Restaurants & mall next door too. Great hotel for a visit to Providence.
