“Tasty choices”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2012

One of the few places besides Dunkin Donuts to get donuts. Fresh, soft and chewy. Nice choices of bagels and toppings. Nice, quick breakfast or lunch.

“Prices are Exorbitant”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2012

Went to get a quick breakfast with a friend. Ordered 2 large Iced coffees, a large breakfast burrito and an egg, cheese and bagel sandwich. When the register showed just under $20 I was shocked. First my friend questioned the cashier and he said "taxes are not shown the menu". Well that didn't make much sense so I then added up what it said on the blackboard menu of what we ordered. 2 large iced coffees at 2.50 each is $5.00, a large breakfast burrito $6.02 and the egg sandwich on a bagel $3.45. so that is $14.47 plus 8% tax which is a total of $15.62 which is already on the high side for what was ordered, not to mention the "LARGE" (16 oz.) Iced coffees looked like mediums as compared to anywhere else. Anyway after adding I approached the cashier myself and questioned the total and his answer was:
Those prices that are posted on our menus are the "OLD" prices, we haven't posted the new ones. I said why are the old prices still posted and he said either "I only do what I'm told" or "I only take orders". Not a good answer. just wanted to warn anyone who thinks of going there.

“Good breakfast sandwich. Fast. Limited seating.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2012

Very good bagel egg and sausage. Very limited seating on 8 stools arrange along the wall. Tripadvisor has the wrong address. It is at 288 Thayer. Not 228. Many bagel flavors and toppings.

“It's bagels! And tacos!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2011

Probably some of the best bagels in Providence. And tacos? They were ok. I like the combo. Lots of Brown university students, so if you don't like student hangouts, avoid this place. Not much space inside, definitely mOre for take out
