“Good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2014

Although the decor is in need of updating ( I believe plans are already in place for this), we couldn't fault the service or the friendly, helpful staff. It was only the second motel we stayed in that took the trouble to ring our room to check that everything was to our liking.
The room itself was clean, comfortable and spacious. As the booking was done online we were given a daily $20 credit toward breakfast and a late checkout if we had wanted. Good value for money.

Stayed over the 4th of July. Great location, nice staff, but our suite had a sink that needed unclogging, food in buffet just average ( same breakfast menu in buffet everyday). Pool area was a little dirty but overall I would give it a c+. Air conditioner was VERY Loud.

Hello:

Thank you for your feedback. We like to think we have Estes Park's best location, just three blocks from downtown, as well the friendliest folks in our employ. I hope you booked web direct and received your breakfast for free each day. Our rooms will undergo quite a transformation this winter, and you'll be very pleased with the results.

Thank you for your business!

Room was spacious and very clean, and location is good as well, just 5 minutes walking to town centre. We did enjoy our stay in there , there is so much to do in Estes Park and this hotel is a good base. Complimentary drinks as well 3-5pm during summer.

The hotel is definitely dated, but it was clean and had everything you would need. The location is very good - walking distance to the downtown area. The pool and hot tub were nice and well maintained. We booked through the hotel's website and got a late check out and free breakfast.

Thank you for your feedback and thank you for your choosing our hotel for your Estes Park vacation. We have terrific updates coming this winter that are on display in our lobby. In the meantime we've already added all new shower curtains, bedskirts, and throw blankets. The rest of the room will happen starting this October and we're all very excited!

The good is the location, cleanliness, and friendly, effective service. Plenty of parking. The desk person gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. The rooms are nice enough and have everything you would expect and want. The beds are comfortable. The bad is the marginal breakfast for $10, the dingy hallways, and the exterior doors you use to enter the hotel don't lock. They appear to either be broken or intentionally dismantled.

Room Tip: There are rooms around the indoor pool for those who have children.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights in the middle of June. Hotel exterior and rooms were dated. There was a picture of the colors/renovation plans that the hotel would be starting. However, room was nice, clean. Location was perfect! Within walking distance to downtown which was great because parking was very limited downtown. Was also very close to Lake Estes.

I booked my room with hotels.com for today June 27 and June 28...my room was NOT ready at 4:00 as the check in time. I paid for a poolside room online and this is clearly NOT poolside! I was told by manager. RJ that I was not guaranteed a poolside room because I booked it through a third party. He generously offered to allow me to leave the hotel without penalty to find another hotel. How nice to offer me that with my 8 year old son. He stated that he could do nothing about changing rooms because I am staying for 2 nights and they are OVERBOOKED for tomorrow.

Room Tip: Don't pick is hotel"
