“Good affordable option”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2012

Stayed here in March for a weekend. The Hotel itself is a bit tired but it is good affordable accommodation in Estes Park. No complaints and would recommend to others.

Hello:

Thank you for your feedback and for choosing to stay with us, one of only three full-service hotels in Estes Park, and by the far the most economical of the three. We've updated all of our pubic areas just last year with new carpeting and wall treatments added 32" LCD TV's to all of our guestrooms, and added a new 10 person whirlpool. We offer free wi-fi, free $20 breakfast credit and Estes Park's latest check out time when booking directly with us, as well as Estes Park's only summer afternoon beer and wine reception - all free! Hope to see you again soon!

Thank You

Booked this hotel based on reviews and was not dissapointed, yes its not new, but there are not many new hotels around. From arrival to departure could not fault this hotel, room was very clean, linens nice and crisp, towels in bathroom were large and could dry ourselves nicely after a good shower, they were not like small wipe clothes you get in a lot of hotels. The two things impressed us the most was the cleanliness all around and the staff seemed happy and willing to make our stay a good one, checked out a lot of the competion when we were here and believe we got the best to offer in Estes.

Room Tip: Balcony rooms are poolside great for familys.

Hello:

Thank you for your feedback! Your review sees the "big picture" in our town and you thankfully compared us to our peers in Estes Park, where the "newest" hotel is 13 years old. We maintain our product very well, but more importantly, we are always willing to help with any issue a guest may present during a stay. We want our guests to enjoy their stay and share comments and suggestions while on property to ensure 100% satisfaction prior to departure. Our staff is excellent and we try day in and day out to exceed guest expectations and be the most accomodating lodging in Estes. We charge no deposits, have no minimium stays, and offer 6pm day of arrival cancellations. No other local property can match this.

Thank you for a well thought out review and we hope to see you once again very soon!

The picture shows the entrance only. the hotel is actually quite dated and a little dingy feeling. Our room was clean and quiet. We weren't given a brkfst coupon due to using a daily deal site coupon so cant comment on the food. The pool is average, but again a little dark. Probably okay if you just need a place to sleep.

Room Tip: first floor rooms are for patrons with dogs. Some folks do let their dogs bark and bark --the noise...

4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2012 via mobile

Typically don't stay at non major chain hotels but choose to stay here on our trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. Hotel upkeep is exceptional and found everything to look as nice as photos and all of the amenities were found in working order.

Room was thoroughly cleaned and front desk and house keeping were very responsive to needs and requests. Pool was actually pleasantly warm and the hot tub is quite nice.

Booking directly got us a huge discount on breakfast in the restaurant. Food was good and very reasonably priced to begin with.

We stayed at the Rocky Mountain Park Inn for a family getaway. The location was great. The check inn took long as there was only one buysy and overwhelmed person working the front desk. The rooms were very clean and spacious. I agree that a fridge and microwave would be a nice touch. The pool and hot tub were fantastic. We even enjoyed playing pool and foosball. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The restaurant staff was excellent! Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed one night in Estes Park and picked a very good inn. The amenities were great, especially the indoor pool and hot tub. We had a fantastic complimentary full service breakfast and the staff at the inn and restaurant were all very friendly and provided great service. The maid did knock on my door a little too early to clean however, we were able to check in an hour early. The rooms were a little small but efficient. The Inn is close to downtown and Park entrance also, close to golf course and lake. It was clean, comfortable and we will definitely be going back.
